I make quite a bit ahead of the stain because I use it often. I use: 4 oz of Waverly Antique Wax 6 oz of water 1 tsp of black paint (lately, I have been using folk art black, but whatever you have on hand, I think will work) Make sure to stir, shake, or mix before using. * The more water you use will make the stain lighter, and the less you use will be darker. You may want to try samples on wood to see what shade you like. I hope that helps. Thank you for watching😀

LOVE your projects! I just have one suggestion. When you use Mod Podge, put the Mod Podge on the item and not on the tissue paper. Then carefully layer the tissue paper and smooth it out (some people use a layer of plastic wrap to do this) then you can carefully put a coat of Mod Podge on top…. Or wait until the project dries. Works much better for me….. especially large projects.

The basket seemed to turn darker at the end of the craft flip. Did the stain turn darker or did you stain it again?
I only went over it once. It may have gotten darker after is dried or the lighting was different each time.
I tried to purchase the mats with the code but it didn't work.
