      Use 3m4200. Nothing is better. 15yrs fixing and idiots are still hacking bs glues. Nothing is stronger than 3m4200. Youve ben warned

    We've had a lot of success with the method shown I suggest you follow those instructions. Chemical cleaning is not required for all apps. Several layers are good for items like skegs, but not always needed. How fast the glue dries is dependent on temperature. The hotter it is the faster it tacks up so be ready to mate the patch to the boat when tacky. I think humidity is irrelevant and glue will adhere to itself even under water. One should not sand PVC fabric. Call SE we'll discuss, Jerry

    Finally I found a straight to the point, no nonsense video that makes sense. which glue is recommended? I'm hearing that E6000 or Loctite Vinyl, Fabric and Plastic flex glue will work.

    You can purchase repair kits for Sea Eagle boats at the link above. The GT-15 hasn't been in production for many years, but you can use the repair kit for the SE-6, SE-8 & SE-9 which has comparable material.

    SeaEagle seems good quality. My Brand New INTEX Seahawk 3 got 3 punctures from just dragging it in the grass with small bushes.Might have to check this SeaEagle kayak out.

      That's very common for an Intex boat, or other brands with thin vinyl. They are an awesome way to get into the water cheaply, but you have to be ultra careful when handling them on land or around rocks. I commonly lower my sea eagle boats down the sides of cliffs with ropes, and have never had a single hole appear.
      (I am using the higher end boats though)

    The floor seam to the outer covering on my PF7 is seperating...is this covered under warranty? Is there a fix ?

    Hi, is it possible to fix a two inch hole that goes completely through the kayak. A mouse got in the basement, ate a hole in the corner of my inflatable kayak right through to the other side. He got the worse possible spot. Right in the corner so he basically created a hole and connected the air supply that was separated from the sides of the boat to the floor. Is this a lost project?

    The patches I have are slightly rough one side but smooth the other. Do I stick it on rough side down or smooth side down?

    I don't have a hole in my seaEagle, the problem is, while pumping air into it. part of the seem just unglue and opened up and let all the air out. what is the best way to repair that problem, without having it open up on me or my family while we are on the water.

    Why does this video not follow the instructions listed on the glue they supply? The glue states you need to clean the area with Toluene and several applications of glue are need to be applied. Does the area need to be sanded as well? What about temperature and humidity?

      +ESKEEMO02 02 Same answer my friend. It has to be a PVC compatible glue. You can drop by a local pool store or WestMarine and tell them that you need a pvc compatible glue to patch your iK.

    need help, i saw the link for the glue products but $22 is a tad bit out of my budget. is there anything i can get for under 10 locally? like super glue, gorilla glue, or a pvc vinyl friendly cement around the walmart aisles?
    btw its for an intex explorer k2 suffering from a glass puncture. and i see the hole, just no glue.

    My Sea Eagle, virtually new, has a hole (three times this "O") right next to the seam. I just did a repair and is waiting for 24 hours. Hopefully, it will hold. Please pray for my boat.
