    People always feel the need to tell us how dangerous our bikes are, if only they knew how many of us bikes save. It takes something very special to make you feel again after so long feeling numb.

    I share your sentiment about how you feel about your Ducati. I have owned jap bikes and ridden other brands, street & dirt bikes. Nothing beats the feeling of the Ducati bike, the way you feel the moment you push the start button and once you put your leg around the saddle , you realize you’re on something very special, it becomes your drug, even when I don’t ride mine, I start it just to hear it, it brings so much pleasure and happiness to my soul deep within. I love how real you’re in your vlogs, this is your therapy right here. Keep vlogging, keep sharing your awesome thoughts and your openness. Don’t know you but hearing your voice and your life experience makes your vlogs true and worth watching. Enjoy your awesome Ducati, block the naysayers and keep those videos coming.

    Hi, loved the video. I can relate to your story. About 8 years ago my dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. After a big operation chemotherapy he was free of cancer for a year. It came back it had spread to his lungs he had to have lots of chemo to try and shrink the cancer at first it worked. Around that time I bought a secondhand Ducati 848 after 7 years of inactivity riding bikes. I remember how the bike maid me feel. The bike was parked at my parents place and every time I went for a ride my dad was there sending me of I associate the bike with him. 3 years ago this October I lost dad to cancer. And every time I go out for I ride got the feeling he is still there sending me of. Sins 2 months now I am back on a twin cillinder, this time a Ktm Super Duke 1290r and I love the feeling and torque of that bike. After the Ducati I had a Suzuki Gsxr1000k9 and a ZX10R Kawasaki. After 3 years I still miss my dad every single day and I have not really dealt with his loss. I wish you many more lovely rides and lots of happiness. 👌👍❤️🥀

    Thanks for sharing - it's a great story. My bike makes me happy as well, it's a Tiger 1200 and not everyone's taste but I love it. No way that people should steal your joy by criticising your new baby - I bet it's a ton of fun. My commute from Salisbury to Bournemouth is now fun and not drudge. My dad passed away in 2009 he was a director of the local football club. I went to every game with him for years n years football was my dad, I've been to 6 games since, can't bring myself to go miss him every day. He also rode motorcycles but never with me, for some reason he gave up before a passed my test anyway I'm waffling 😀. Do whatever makes you happy that includes riding whatever bike makes you happy. 👍

  • @Aint1S
    @Aint1S Před 4 lety

    I'm sorry to hear that you heard the worse possible news on the day I subscribed... That's when I saw those piercing eyes and now I now I see why I was drawn to them, you were holdingin some kind of pain behind those captivating eyes
    You were really pushing the hyper for real that day LMAO, it explains a lot!
    I've been through some wild things in my short 30+ heard of life that most would never get to experience. Active duty Navy during 9/11, in the middle of talks to swap billets to the USS Cole (before she was bombed by a Somali,) witnessing my grandfather pass away from a ranching accident, and my father pass away minutes after I came home from a 10 minute walk.
    The Navy part was mental gymnastics and considering if the swap to that shop would've saved someone if I'd taken that billet.
    To witness the passing of the most looked up to men in my life within a couple of years apart, that was a hollow feeling which haunts me. I feel for you I do, wholeheartedly! I'm sure you're a Christian to some degree and if I may share with you the thought process that helped me overcome my father in particular... Assess why you want your father here; is it for your needs or his own? If it were possible, would you want him to come back to a corrupted Earth for you alone or had he done his part in this life? Earning his rest in the place that God prepared for all of us.
    These are the root problems and my conclusion after a year of expecting him to walk through my parents front door each evening was that my wants are derived from my own greed in not letting my father rest. He served in this lifetime and he earned his rest in the next.
    It's okay to miss him and it's okay to do what you feel because he's never far from you. Coping with loss is hard, but gaining some understanding from what you want and what he deserves is divine. We're all greedy children when we lose our parents, it's what they'll always be to us.
    You have a huge heart Joanne and the bigger the heart, the more it will hurt; however, your dad would never want to see you torn apart over him... You've got to be strong. Take the joy you've known and leave the rest. You're one of those few people who are here to love and spread joy in other's lives, that's your gift and you know he knew it!
    We're a bit different in that I always look for understanding and explanation for the things we experience in our lives, I'm quite logical, calculated in my approach to life, and I can read people far more than they are willing to show . That said, I'm always somehow empathetic to someone with those traits such as yourself and it's been no shortage of damp eyes in this comment. When you feel loss, remember that it's only out greed in wanting those we love for ourselves.
    Ryan from Texas!

If it makes you happy it’s right for you. Btw, you never really loose loved ones when they leave us, they always live on in our memories and hearts. Celebrate their life with you and the pain diminishes. We are all here but for a short time. Too short to be sad x

    It took me a year to the day before therapy made me feel better. I am SO much happier because I stuck with it. Later, I found Jungian therapy to be the best form for me.
