“Unity House” sounds like the headquarters of an obscure 70’s cult. These CRF episodes are sincerely some of my favorites simply because of how much additional info ont he places. Just like Dan, I appreciate it when a place has an interesting story behind it.

I am pretty amazed the projectors and the seats were still there... I worked at three different theatres in my late teens and into my early twenties... and those three theatres closed at various times and the first things that got taken out was the projector equipment, to be used as parts at other theatres in those projection booths and the seats were sold at auctions for other theatres to be used as spare seats or parts.

Awesome video! Not sure if you are interested or not, but there is an old hotel in downtown Allentown, PA called the Americus Hotel that has been abandoned for years. I know the owner was trying to fix it up, but the plan fell through last year. I've driven past it almost everyday and it's pretty awesome.

The big reason for the lack of TV in the rooms was because cable didn't arrive in Lehman township until 1986. It's also on the wrongside of the mountains, so the antenna reception would have been very snowy, not exactly something you would want to present to paying customers.

Very interesting additional footage to your previous Unity House video. The theatre looked magnificent in it's heyday, all lit up and occupied. So sad that these places should become so needlessly abandoned; they can always be put to some other worthwhile use in my opinion. Being an iconic 1930s building, it should certainly be restored and perhaps used as a conference/ training facility or maybe even a golf/ country club.Did you ever get to explore Mount Airy Lodge?

One thing I have noticed in these urban-explorer videos (not just yours) is the amount of ominously placed chairs. They seem to be placed there specifically. I always wonder why they are in the positions they are in.

The Lescaze Building burned down along with the Rivera murals about 1960. The resort had 3 levels of fees, ILG members, other union members and others. There never was air conditioning. The shows before the big theater was built were down at the lake and Danny Kaye was there before about 1940. You need to correct these errors. I know, I spent 13 + summers there.

no but seriously it kind of reminds me of old school roller coaster cars too that i seen shown on youtube. the seats were suppose to fit two adults but look TINY! trying to get two grown adults in one of those now would probably be awkward and uncomfortable! i guess we truly are a lot huger than back then!!
