Most MDs don't believe in leaky gut. I'm glad you are treating it. Leaky gut can cause all sorts of autoimmune problems. Feel better soon.
Thank you!!!
I enjoy a lot of other watercolor artists on here, but Kristy, your crazy & weird always make my soul happy. Thank you so much for sharing your light with all of us!
Wow, thank you!
Wow this is breathtaking 😮 I love your version it’s like walking into a fairy tale just as the sun is awakening at dawn.
Oh thank you!!
You are absolutely right. Everytime I use heat to dry my watercolour layers I always feel like they have ‘flattened’ , no character . Hard to describe. Now I just let stuff dry naturally.
Ohhh my gosh!! I’m not alone!!
I must say this hairdo is fantastic!! And now i hear you..ITS ON!!!
Yay! Thank you!
Team Replay! I like Lindsay and you because you are so completely yourself and I am here for it!❤
💃🏻💃🏻
BOOP! Team replay! 80s and Friends girl here too! Thank you for reiterating art supplies and what you can afford. The first things I invested in was your brush set and good watercolor paper. I would like to buy better paints but since I was gifted random inexpensive sets I might as well use those while I’m learning. I remember in a video you told us to just START with what ya have and get things as you go. I can’t wait until the travel brush set comes out! I also like watching your videos where you take retro watercolor pallets and put your own pans in. I think you mentioned something about you were going to do a project with all the cakes of paint from them. Somehow I missed it 😢.
I did it! czcams.com/video/gW-q6bqyFbc/video.htmlsi=xXixzES_EgRdNQmA
Always joyful to watch you. A fun tutorial. Thank you
You are so welcome!
Literally jumped all around my computer trying to figure out what settings I had wrong. HYSTERICAL! .... I'm ready to watch the rest now. LOL - thanks for the giggle
Haha you’re welcome!
Team replay. I’m trying to watch on phone so I can like.
So excited. Just went to Amazon and ordered the 48 floral empty palette. I’m a D Smith girl.
I don’t believe my palette was assembled correctly in the factory. The extra half pans do not fit in the column. Please advise.
Bring on the favorites travel brush set!!! Woo hooooo!! When??? Sorry I missed this live! You are so generous with your time!
I don’t know yet, in early stages but very likely this year :)
Amen to a travel brush set! I’ve purchased others brands and am so disappointed with them. 😢
Oh my goodness this taught me so much! I’ve always wanted to try gouache but was sorta intimidated! I saw this late last night and since I care for my 2 1/2 yr old grandson the only art materials out are crayons! So while he was drawing dragons and dinosaurs I went from memory non this lovely fantasy painting! The crayon one is sort of a blueprint for later tonight but just wanted to say thank you!!! You are so fun and funky… but not cold … Madena!!😂
🤣🤣😘so glad you gave this a try!
a hollow is the area between two mountains. Where two mountains come together, (picture two round mountains. There is usually a creek in a hollow, coming down from where the mountains come together. In appalacia.
Oh nice!!!
Team replay. To Michelle. Hello I’m Michele too. I really love Kristy Rice’s paints. The Art for Joy’s Sake pallet. I am brand new to watercolor painting. I’ve never been much of a painter. I’ve been dabbling in it for about a year now. And I don’t get to paint near how much I would like to because I’m a busy nurse. But out of the small handful of brands that I have bought and Kristy I made the choices of what I bought based on her videos and opinion and I will say her paints I think are the richest that’s how I describe them. They are the colors are so rich. I really love her paints. I would recommend them every day of the week and I would buy them over and over and over.
Appreciate this a ton :)
Loving this tutorial, btw, even though I’m watching a day late!
Yay! Thank you!
I'm loving the gouache! The colors and magic. It's been very informative to watch how you paint with more opaque style. I love that ghilbli style, like manga cartoons. With saturated colors. And dreamy landscapes . Like you did today. 😁
You have become such a staple in my life that i listen to your conversations while doing a completely different style. Your enthusiasm is contagious, and your realistic doubt reminds me that we all can have that doubt. Acknowledging it. But pushing through it. I love it! Keep being you Kristy. Xx ❤
Thank you!! 😘😘
Please try the Tim Holtz, distressed watercolor pencils they are amazing. Just make sure that your paper is completely dry before you lay down color. Or you can dip the tip of the pencil in water get it wet and then use a brush to apply the color.
Oooh I have them!
Love this, watched the original lesson, then yours, and as someone who loves to mix watercolor and gouache, I can’t wait to try this!
Wonderful!
OMG Kristy...it's gorge-y-pops🎉 ❤
OMG thanks! And I’m stealing that word!!
Oh my gosh the vanishing point tip is what I needed!
Awesome!!!
Kristy, this turned out so good! I am working on my March birth flower painting and I was hitting that ugly stage and busted out laughing at your comments about that inevitable ugly stage just at the same I was on the same struggle bus. I just LOVE your lives. I haven't laughed so much during a painting session as I did during these couple of hours! 😂
Hahaha I’m sooo glad!!
Wonderful live session today. Feeling like I need to just go for it and step into a dreamy theme. Thanks so much!🥰
You can do it!
You did an admirable version of Ruth's lovely, magical painting.
Thanks!!
Wow! Loved this.
So glad!
Love this!!!
😘😘😘
Team Replay. You are cracking me up today. I burst in to song all the time. I have also been known to start dancing when there’s no music. 😂
Alll that!!
Team replay today. My prayers are with you for healing and good future health 🙏.
Although I'm painting portrait #2 of the portraits of all of my sweet babies (Cryssie turned 14 yesterday), I love listening to you! I'll send you updated photos if you don't mind. Ladybug is 12 now (1st painting) and at 14 Cryssie is still running circles around the 2 year old, Princess. I feel so blessed and you inspired me to confront my fear of not being able to show their true beauty since most of them are white. After success with Ladybug I'm continuing. I can do extremely realistic portraits of other people's babies but I was terrified to attempt my own. Your incredible heart and encouragement is continually helping me to work through this. Please keep doing what you are doing, we need you and your sweet spirit. ❤😊
I would love to see!
Let me just say... You are a delight! I saw your video, so I decided to watch Ruth's video first and then yours. It was like hanging out with my bestie artist friend. 😍
Yay! Thank you!
I love your watercolour paint set and brush set! I especially ❤ when the paint colours mingle. So interesting. I also ❤❤❤ your videos and personality. I think of you as not only my creative coach but also my life coach. You share so many nuggets of valuable life lessons. I look forward to learning more from you.
I am waiting for payday to buy the paint and brush set. Her paints and brushes are just delicious, I feel like reaching through the screen to play with them.
😘😘
Thank you so much!
I bought a set of gouache, but have been scared to try it. I just got back into watercolor, a fair bit thanks to you with your just do small things, even random practice is better than nothing approach. Your brushes are a learning curve for me because I've only ever used the round brushes most others recommend, but I am enjoying them and your watercolors. ❤
Wonderful!
Love love love ‘crazy’ Kristy 😂 you always make me smile. I can definitely relate to Phoebe 😅
🤗
❤yes your on thanks 😊
❤just got my collapsible painter pot. Love it❤❤❤
Wahooo!! Would love a review if you feel inspired!
The fairy lights are so cool!! 🧚♀️ I didn't see them as eyes until you said it!! 😂 It has a very dreamy, fairytale feel. I agree with the be happy to put that on the wall in my craft room - any room to be honest!! 🥰 Part live squad/part replay squad!! 🤗 Have a lovely evening hugging your kidos and bravo on the weight loss!! 👏

This episode...there ya go. I can hear you now. I'd rather just see you paint but I do enjoy your Joy. . Being in the right mental state is important.. I used to "busk(playing in public. If I wasn't enjoying it I'd stop. Watercolors different. You can get in the mood. Spread to joy
Yes indeed! Find that mood!!
Favorite Friend’s episode- Joey puts all of Chandler’s clothes on “Could I BE wearing anymore clothes?” …and reveals he’s sweating & he’s going commando. Then Chandler’s reaction. 🤣
The one with all the procrastination!!!!!
Thanks kristy.❤
You are so welcome
Replay: it's going to be fine I'll bet. The contrast looks lovely.
"A lookie loo, a reminder-poo" 🤣
💃🏻🙌🏻😘
The one where Ross gets his teeth whitened. I am still laughing to this day. Omg so sorry comment spamming your feed.
Love that one!!!
Team replay!!! Love your videos!
Yay! Thank you!
Hope the stream went well ☺☺
Lol. Remember in the 80s if someone was hating on someone they would write on the bathroom wall for a good time call Kristy bad the number. Oh my gosh 😅
🤣🤣🤣🤣yassss! lol!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣yassss! lol!!
Team replay. Some of my family, from Tennessee, my aunt and uncle lived on a farm and it was on Happy Valley holler. Lol. ❤
Oh what a lovely name!!!
When we were little kids we could not say my aunts name correctly. Her name was Delma. And we called her aunt Dammer. 😆
Watched the replay today.... I do love your painting. (As well as the original one by Ruth Wilshaw.) I'm curious why you chose to start yours with watercolor rather than gouache? Could the sunrise effect have been created with gouache? Or, because gouache does not blend and flow like watercolor, would it have been much more difficult to achieve the same effect using gouache? Trying to figure out the 'whys' as well as 'hows.' Thank you!
I actually think the sunrise effect would be more forgiving in gouache but I wanted to combine the two mediums in one painting as a challenge to myself :)
❤no sound but I can take the time to tell you or thank you my new paintbrushes are on the way Arrington on my birthday and I am so excited to use your beautiful brushes
Sound is coming lol!

West Virginia folk say “holla”
Got it!!!
#teamreplay I thought your creamy might be a variation of DS’s Buff Titanium, which I just got to add to my palette!
Team Replay ❤
Team replay. I’ve been doing watercolor for a couple years now and am gaining interest in gouache but have no idea how they work. Thanks for doing this video. I’m on the studying end of gouache right now and was wondering about filling my own pans and drying them!? Does this work well?
Good luck!!
You or the Best an this is my first an i love you so much as a friend.AMEN❤
Hi Linda!!
I think holler is a hillbilly term for hollow which is a valley in the mountains. I looked it up and said it comes from Elizabethan English.
Ohhhh interesting!
❤❤❤❤w
❤❤❤😂 I 😂
I’m going to be honest. I dislike gouache. I was trying so hard to get excited about it while you were painting because it’s you doing it. God bless gouache artists!
I want to take the $400 bucks of gouache I have out into my pasture to see if I can blow it up. (Do I need a license?) I think that would be an amazing demonstration of how this medium can be made interesting. My horses may find my antics a bit juvenile given my joy seeing them plastered in dull pigment, but art is art, right?
Omg this had me launching out loud!!!
Team Replay: Wow, I thought you may be 35! Looking great for 46!
Okay. I love you!
I did not but my name an LINDA ❤
Kristy, do you know that all the stuff you say Ralph can edit out, isn’t edited out?
It’s not edited yet :) It sometimes takes him a couple days to
No sound😢
Sound is good now❤
