It's pretty weird that Dolby themselves don't have like a hundred Atmos test videos. I understand they make discs for commercial purposes but they should really have things readily available for the average consumer for us to demo our home theatres with!
They do have Leaf and Amaze for download on the website - www.dolby.com/ja/about/support/guide/downloadable-dolby-atmos-trailers/
Creating these type of clips is quite a challenge so even for Dolby this is quite an Herculean task to take on, hopefully they will create more in the future, as we all love them.

Hey frank! I have been looking everywhere for these kind of demos in high enough quality to test My 9.1.2 system. Im No tech Guy, is there a possibility i can join your plex just for the utilities and demos or is that a big hassle?

@@jonathanwright6812 Hi, Jonathan. My Plex isn't reachable through the internet, but it's not something that's difficult to set up for yourself. Just make a new library based on movies and name it Utilities. Point it to a folder where you share the files and you're done.

Hey Youthman. I tried out to the Dolby ones so far on my Devon 4700h. I liked the original Music Machine#1 the best for clearest channel separation. My other top fave was the Les Deux for the bass feeling. The others were ok but not as impactful or as long. I'll try out the Auro3D ones later (when the wife is out of the house again haha). Cheers. I'm always on the hunt for DTS:X too! :) A shame it's not used more as it has better speaker support than Atmos/Auro.

Thanks for the hookup! The sounds amazing even with my modest gear. Amorant 7015, SVS SB1000 and a 5.1.2 setup with a mixture of Martin Logan and BMW speakers. At this point I just downloaded to my Samsung fold five and used a player that can decode the files and then casted to my system. I can't wait to download to a flash drive and plug that baby into the marantz and see it light up. I have a feeling it will sound like somebody flipped on the cool switch lol😂! Thanks again !! I know many people would have never found this company and their demos and equipment!!! 😊

I download to an external SSD, and also while I was in the mood popped over to Peter Pee’s page as he has some atmos demos too. Plugged the drive directly in to my Sony brava TV and only one file plays the audio.all the rest are silent! :(😢
I wouldn’t expect many TV’s to be able to playback .mkv files.

Is a Trinnov product required to play these? I had no luck with my Marantz AV10, Oppo 205, and Fire TV Cube and Roku using both emby and Plex. I even converted one of the files to mp4, without success. The folder containing the mkv files appeared, but none of the files themselves.
No it does not require a Trinnov to play the files. Unfortunately, I’m not seeing .mkv support from your 205.

@@Youthman Thanks for the reply Michael. As it turns out, the Oppo 205 does play the files (at least from the USB hard drive, but not the NAS). Apparently it just took a few hours to recognize those big files before they could be played. So, the 205 does remain a universal player.
@hawkster27 very cool! I’m not familiar with OPPO models. I was just going by what I was seeing on their website.
@@hawkster27 I'm using Oppo 203 with jailbreak firmware. No playback issue. Maybe your 205 still with original firmware?

I encountering same issue when playback these Trinnov Dolby Atmos trailers. It shows 5.1 instead of Dolby Atmos. Upon checking those files audio format with my pc, it shows "Meridian Lossless Packing FBA with 16-channel presentation". Maybe my receiver unable to support MLP as Dolby Atmos? I am using Denon top range receiver.
Downloaded some tracks, played them back on Apple TV via VLC and only video comes out, no audio.

Can you please tell me ...I am using Netflix for movies. Netflix wants me to pay 10 dollars more for Atmos and the standard (10.00 less) is 5.1 for the sound . Why cant I save about 10.00 a month if I use my Auro 3 D to upmix the 5.1 to Auro 3D ?.I do not care about 4k ...just sound. .Is this possible ?

Were these recently added, as i went hunting for the trinnov demos a month or so ago and couldnt' find.
Vlc worked fine. Great demos
You can play mkv files with a NVIDIA Shield. That's how I play my demos stored on my PLEX NAS using my Shield. Works great. Thanks for the links Youthman. Never can have enough Dennis. Great to have native Auro3d Demos as well since I don't think I have any of those so can't wait to test my Denon 4700h to compare ATMOS mode with Auro3D mode

I had an issue registering in Chrome, the same as another user; so I did it in Edge browser and it worked fine.
Actually the registration email contains links to separate ATMOS and Auro-3D zip files - makes a download of specific types of files faster since some of us only need ATMOS collection.
9.3GB ZIP file for ATMOS only.
I downloaded all demos from trinnov on a thumb drive. Plugged in to my Panasonic UB9000 and I could only get the video with no sound. AV processor is Marantz unit.
Check to see if the Panasonic is set to Bitstream.

Only the Machine demos are bit interesting and have balanced sound with bit of surround mix.
Rest all others seems to be loaded of LFE only. Deep LFE ONLY i mean, sounds bloated boom boom only.
Listen to Rows of Rows and Les Dieux. Much more than LFE in those demos.
@@Youthman Yes, after the machine ones, Row and Les Dieux are ok. But not to the expectation levels when company like Trinnov creates these demos and post on their website. There are lot better worthy demos than these. I am not saying all these are rubbish but as I said when you see the name Trinnov, someone will expect they will raise the bar and should have done something extraordinary different from others.
Although Trinnov makes incredible products, keep in mind, they are still a small company.

The webiste doesnt work, they send me demos to mail but still cant download from website, the file they send is downloading in speed of less than 1MB/ps, its seriously bad experience especially from such a high end company.

Looks like Google Drive "Quota exceeded" because "too many downloads" so I am being blocked. Which may explain why the Trinnov page never gives me access to the individual Demos which is what I would prefer.

The Atmos is cool, but how many people are using the Auro-3D layout? People who do Atmos are automatically not doing Auro-3D.
That’s exactly why I expressed delete the ones you don’t use. For my system, I only loaded the Dolby Atmos files
But there are some people that have systems that can accommodate Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and AURO-3D with a Trinnov or StormAudio processor.
Auro 3D sounds wonderful, especially for music content,I encourage all home theatres enthusiasts to experience the Trinnov clips in that format.
@benoitmunoz I enjoy 2ch unmixed to AURO-3D but prefer Dolby Atmos for movies.

Unlikely, my experience is most AVRs can't play surround sound encoded MKV files. If you look at techndad's channel, he does atmos demos and he lists the devices his audiance has stated they work with, it should be the same list as MKV files are pretty common.

ive downloaded these videos onto a usb drive ive tried playing them back thru my Sony bluray player they play but do not show as being played as dolby atmos on my Trinnov does anyone know how to make this work? ive played music player 1 via keiliedescape do you know if Trinnov will make these all available on Kaliedescape?

Make sure your Blu-ray player is set to Bitstream.
Kaleidescape version is on the way, do not hesitate to request it from them as they are leading that process, not Trinnov.
Anyone have luck downloading to a flash drive on a Mac and be able to play on a Panasonic UB820?
We recommend playing the clips from faster solid drives than simple USB flash drives

I completely disagree. To me, there are 2 or three I prefer over Machine 1. It’s not even on my top 3.

It comes down to licensing agreements with whomever is making the content.
Maybe Trinnov doesn’t want to sell these, but they would rather provide these free to the community, which is what they are doing

That would be up to the individual company to offer that. I think it’d be a great idea if AVR companies or processor companies would provide them free with maybe some of their higher end products but I’ve never seen that happen.
