Yeah, too bad the character is gone, but thanks to the fact that he was masked the whole movie the actor has the option to return as different characters.
I mean to be fair, that death moment was significant for the lead bad bodyguard who was unconvinced that they needed to work together. Seeing him taken out so easily and unable to do anything about it woke the dude up. Anyways, personally the guy looked cool and had some nice fights but that’s about it. Not really upset about a character with shallow development.

More specific, it’s Hong Kong film making. Most fight scene in Hong Kong made movies especially in the 70-80’s are like this. Give it a go if you wanna see more fight scenes like this!
I am guessing the main reason would be because it was co-ordinated by Brad Allan who worked with Jackie Chan and Hong Kong cinema for a long time. God bless his soul and may he rest in peace.
@@MitholasThor yep, he was the second crew who filmed all the action scenes, which is why the movie feels weird as if it were 2 different separate movies.
Something I love about this movie is how Shang-Chi’s fighting is consistent throughout the whole movie. He doesn’t start off extremely strong, get nerfed a lot, and then come back even stronger. Instead, he keeps the same strength and skill throughout the movie, managing to beat or come to a draw with others in absolutely amazing fight scenes, and then becomes stronger when he gets the Ten Rings, while still maintaining his character/personality throughout. It was amazing.
@@skychieftain if you’re referencing what I said about him getting stronger, I meant that he simply gets stronger because of the Ten Rings, which are powerful weapons that he didn’t have before. There’s a genuine reason he gets stronger, he doesn’t just get nerfed and then somehow beat all his enemies even though he hasn’t actually done anything to give him an actual advantage besides getting encouragement. That’s what I meant. I don’t see anything else that seems to be contradictory, so I’m assuming that’s what you’re talking about.
