Zombie Wanda Maximoff vs. The Surviving Avengers Fight Scene [No BGM] | What If...?

- The surviving Avengers discover that the Vision, specifically his Mind Stone, can reverse the effects of the virus, exemplified by Scott's cured head being kept alive in a jar. However, they also find out that the Vision has been keeping a zombified Wanda Maximoff captive due to her resisting the cure and feeding other survivors to her, including pieces of T'Challa. Soon, she breaks free and begins fighting them.
Unwilling to live without her zombie bride, the Vision sacrifices himself and gives up the Mind Stone so the others can cure the world with it. Bucky encounters hungry Wanda, but she throws him through the sky. Banner stays behind and turns into the Hulk to battle Zombie Wanda and an oncoming zombie horde. In the hopes of broadcasting the Mind Stone's energy, the four survivors head to Wakanda.
However, Wakanda has been conquered by zombified Thanos, who is in possession of five of the six Infinity Stones, needing only the Mind Stone to complete the collection. It seems he still aims to use the Infinity Gauntlet, but it is unclear if his plans of wiping out half of all life will have changed.

@Diego-San Well given Strange was infected in New York alongside Stark and Wong, Thanos would never have the time stone and wouldn't be able to reverse it.

This episode left me asking so many questions. How did Thanos become infected if he likely already got the Power Stone from Xandar before he arrived? How did he get the other stones if the events of this timeline played out the way they did? How did Zombie Thanos still have enough sentience to know how to use the stones? What would he do once he inevitably got his hands on the Mind Stone since Earth has already been completely infected, and wiping out half of them wouldn’t make a difference?
@Grishon Since Thanos wanted to decrease the population in half maybe Zombie Thanos wants to do the opposite.
@Grishon The gauntlet does nothing. The stones don't either. It is the person using the stones that can get them to do things. It was Thanos who wanted half of the life gone, not the stones.

A great question is how come the other stones don’t give off a sub frequency like the mind stone did ?

Well because the virus affects the mind and the stone is clearly called the mind stone. Although I have a feeling the soul stone would have the same effect, however considering that we saw thanos at the end wield the soul stone without any effect makes it unlikely.

What so interesting about watching this particular episode is how the fallen Heroes and Villains who became Zombies would still use their powers. Afterall, Zombies in general are instinct creatures who primary goal is to feed, to use their sills like Magic of the scarlet Witch and Iron Man armor is more of a mindset purpose.

The Mind Stone is the only way to reverse the effects of the zombie apocalypse. That’s how he was able to keep Scott’s head alive. Just for some reason, Zombie Wanda was immune to the effects of the Mind Stone. Most likely because the Mind Stone is how she got her powers so she’s probably immune to it because of that.

How did Thanos got infected? His skin should be strong also. Iron man was barely able to make him bleed.
I'd assume that his weaker spots were attacked. We don't know how Thanos got each infinity stone and in what order, so it's safer to assume that he could've been overwhelmed. Then the virus would enter though any openings, such as the ears, nose or mouth. Just a guess. Another guess is that Thanos is actually using the reality stone, making him appear as one of the zombies to simply blend in. After all, why kill them if they'll just leave you alone?

Appreciate the reference to the original Marvel Zombies by using T’Challa as a snack for one of the hero zombies.
But what doesn’t make sense is why Thanos was in Wakanda. He only went there for the Mind Stone. And he didn’t get the Time Stone from Strange. Hell, his minions JUST got to Earth to retrieve them.
It also seems like 1. Hulk is immune to this virus and 2. They could use the completed Gauntlet to either undo all the damage and deaths or eradicate the virus and the zombies with it. Since no one died FOR the Stones, they should be able to resurrect anyone.
