  • This job is days away from sheetrock and I wanted to show you some of the features the builder included before it all gets covered up.
Please let me know in the comments if you’re digging this type of format. I wanted to play around with the behind-the-scenes type of video to see if you like it.

These long format videos are way awesome. Would happily watch more off them. Great house and very sensible GC.

I can only hope to find a builder this knowledgeable when it comes time to build our custom home. Nice video.

Siding crews love to shoot 2.5” long nails 🤷‍♂️. When I built my house, I spray painted “No Clavos” and giant X’s on the sheathing in the bay where my linesets were running. I also ensured the lineset was perfectly in the middle of the 2x6 wall to avoid possible damage. I did zip system sheathing on the house and my siding guy crew leader commented that they love zip system because they can see where all the studs are bc of the nail holes.

Great walk thru. If you have a chance to do another when that kitchen is built out would like to see that! Thanks!

Take a picture of any walls that could be problematic before sheet rock and insulation so anything that might get hit is apparent. I've actually done it with the tape measure , in the picture, showing a distance to anything possibly problematic.

Does the builder have a Floorplan of this home? I'm in Ohio so I don't think I could have them build my new home but I love this layout and would love to see the whole house.

Lighting, furniture, ceilings. Gosh if there was just another way to make rooms feel more separate….
