Masjid e Haram / forbidden Mosque is named forbidden? Masajid 09/15
    Masajid
From the Series 'What Quran Says'
delivered by Muhammad Shaikh in 2012
Masaajid / Mosques are places of worship for Muslims where they pray in congregations, and the literal meaning of the Arabic word "Masjid" / mosque is "a place of prostration." Part of the format of Muslim prayer includes phsyical and psychological prostration to the verses of the Quran which are recited during the prayer. This lectures focuses on the Masaajid / Mosques and more specifically three masaajid / mosques mentioned in the Quran, namely Masjid al-Haram / The Sacred Mosque, Masjid al-Aqsa / The Remotest (in time) Mosque and Masjid al-Dirrar / The Harmful Mosque. It describes what can be found in these three mosques, where they are located and how, why and by whom were they established. Definitely a must see!

One book is the revelation (understanding received by us with spirit of truth) whereas another book is Al-Kitab (Book of Moosa) which is existing from before. These two books can be easily cross examined by confirming revelation from THE BOOK which is in between our hands

There are 4 sacred/ forbidden months. While performing Hajj at Masjid Haram, we are forbidden to do certain things and acts, which is why this mosque is called as Masjid e Haram.

But in Sahih Bukhari - 3197, the 4 months mentioned are Zil'Qaadah, Zil'Haj, Moharram and Rajab.

There is no grave of any Prophet. Masjid al-Aqsa/Nabawi was built on the Companions of the Cave/Companions of the Cave as mentioned in Surah al-Kahf 18:21.

logical and easily understandable. since certain lawful actions are forbidden to be performed in the premises of the forbidden mosque, so it is called by the name. otherwise, those forbidden actions are allowed outside this mosque's premises and they are not forbidden in their nature, under the related law in right situations.

There is no Ascension event described in the ayat 17-1 bit two mosques identified. The second mosque is same in blessing as witnessed by mankind in the madina city as it is so blessed in the sacred mosque of makka.
