    Spot on Rob. Personally i love seeing sharks while diving. Of course i prefer reef sharks. We also haven’t got the numbers of whites and I’ve never seen a bull shark out here on Oahu.

    Thank Rob, I'm sure they can feel your heart rate and know if you are stressed.
    Maybe a new topic can be Morey Eels living with crayfish. I was almost munched this weekend looking for bugs and maybe a good reminder to Spearo's to never put your hands in a hole without knowing what's in there.

    I've always told new spearos to be the aggressor in shark encounters, if you're a threat the shark will go away

    Avoid poking the gills so as to not trigger it's killer survival instincts to fight back because it thinks it's ability to breath is threatened. Learned from one experience

    I'd also add, have some situational awareness when your spearing, especially if you keep your catch attached to your weight belt.
