Hi Gayle. It was my package that I wrote yea tyvek!! It is always good to use the packaging. My husband ordered a big part for his truck and it arrived today. When I walked in the garage there was packing paper everywhere. It was nice and thick so I collected it all and folded it neatly into a pile. He came in shortly and asked what I did with it as he ordered the wrong size and had to pack it back up. I think I was more disappointed to lose the paper than he was at ordering the wrong thing! Love your pocket making and collage with book pages Gayle! I’m not a science fiction fan, but I do really enjoy Stranger Things. My granddaughter watches it with me when she comes to visit, (which makes it extra special), she says her whole class watches it. 🥰🇨🇦
This video is just in time for a project I've been thinking about doing. I have a couple of old desk calendars so I was thinking of covering one like this for a background when I'm displaying projects to share in pictures. I covered one with contact paper to use as my crafting surface and it's been very handy. TFS. Hope you have a great day. 🌞
Hey Gayle! It was fun spending time with you this morning!! Collaging is my very favorite thing to do and don't you just love it when it's time to decorate or finesh a piece & you find that certain words or numbers appear that remind you of a loved one or a special event, etc!! I do scan the page first before I collage, but somehow these meaningful bits just appear, & I absolutely love that! Thank you so much for always being here!! 💕

I know you usually stamp your strips with mike and tv time, but I’m sure I’m not alone when I say I really enjoy those stamping videos. Think we are due for some label stampin and strip stamping. Could even do some of Tracie fox new labels to stamp on!

By the by my grandkids got me hooked on watching, "Stranger Things". This year I got my other half hooked on it and we spent a weekend we watching every episode before we started watching the new ones which we finished already too you're right it's a great show. 💯🐞

Old books can have the most interesting illustrations in them, including violent ones. I got out an old Mother Goose Nursery Rhymes book the other day and some of the rhymes are scary and really don't make sense when you read them.

Have you thought about ordering the re-inkers instead of getting a whole new ink pad?
I have the re-inkers and have probably re-inked this pad a dozen times. There comes a time where it just doesn’t soak up as good as it should. This pad will be kept for “messy jobs” like distressed edges that are all crummy. 😁. Not to worry…I waste nothing in my craft room! 👍❤️

Do you know you can get ink refill bottles? Not very expensive and your pad will last forever! Adding water to an ink pad is just not a good idea...
Yes and I’ve re-inked on camera to show others, but, believe me, this pad has had it! I’ll still keep it for use on crumbly things or things I don’t want to ruin my new one with. ❤️

I happen to open this lady's junk journal flip this morning and was very impressed by some of her unique embellishments throughout. Many that have hidden writing tucks. So many great ideas, including how she put the signatures in and then, hid the strings on the spine. Looking on her site, I also watched this tutorial on a telescopic tag she made, where the pages pull out together from an envelope. Anyway, I don't know if you've ever seen her work before, but I thought I would share these videos if you'd like some new ideas:

I hope your grandkids are happy with their tryout outcomes. My daughter's two oldest sons are both in Cross Country. My grandson, Charlie, has been doing very well with his times for a few years now and we're thinking he's going to have a good year. He'll be a high school junior this year.
