He’s just a slightly above average quarterback. He’s not going to win you games soley on his arm every time but he’s pretty consistent and you give him a team to back him up it’s not like he’s going to lose you games every time either

He's technically not retired, he's just a free agent not actively trying to look for a team. His wiki also lists him as a free agent although I think at this point he's prob gonna stay out of the game.

A qb that does not know how to win important games is not an elite qb, he is just an average qb.
Kirk does not know how to win important games, he can easily win from week 1 through week 8 but when the team needs hin to clutch… he’s out.
I had no idea, but Kirk put up 4200 Passing yards and 33-7 TD:INT last year what. That's amazing wtf, more underrated than I expected.

Bandwagon hate trains. They don't watch him play but they heard some talking head on ESPN/NBC/FOX call him "mediocre" and "overpaid" so they all think he's "mediocre" and "overpaid" now.
Some qb's get favored in media, like their sold to us with lists of excuses. Then, there's a guy like this who gets sold to us as being horrible, but all the while is a bona-fide guy at his position, no matter what is said. I respect this guy, precisely because he is disrespected, but keeps outperforming most of the league's passers.

@@Channel-23s last year Kirk did his job when it came to driving down the field and getting into field goal range when we needed it. We could have easily beat the cardinals but missed a 37 yard game winning field which Kirk marched down the field and got us into range. Then vs the bengals in OT he was driving us down the field then Cook "fumbled" (I thought he was down). So I wouldn't say Kirk is the clutchest QB but he has improved over the years.

Born and raised in MN. Love the Vikings to death. I’ve been frustrated with Kirk but as I reflect, he was held back by a coaching perspective. Wonderful football mind and ai can’t wait to see it paired with our new HC who is an offensive juggernaut unlike the old one.

I'm not even a Vikings fan. This man is so underrated. Numbers are basically identical to Justin Herbert's Numbers. But Cousins has threw less interception the past 2 years and 8 less last year. And Herbert gets praised and gets called a top 5 QB I've also seen him on top 3 lists.
His repertoire with Jefferson should garner him MVP votes soon 👀
