- EF Pro Cycling have got some radical custom bikes for the 2020 Giro d'Italia. Team bike sponsor Cannondale have teamed up with Palace Skateboards to create a unique and disruptive livery that will be sure to stand out in the peloton. We were lucky enough to check out Estonian rider Tanel Kangert's bike and give you a run down of the specs!

It's incredibly ugly. The bike in itself is, but that amateurish failure of a sticker job just pushes it over the edge of the cliff.

I think this is awesome! I am a skater of 30 years. 100% skater. Recently I decided to try cyclocross and love the GCN for to many reasons to mention. Palace is a top notch company with elite riders that definitely push boundaries with exceptional skill and talent. Palace is also getting skateboarding a better voice and exposure. Unfortunately I know very little about the cycling team. I think this is awesome and look forward to see what’s next

I've been skateboarding for 14 years and recently gotten more into cycling. Love to see this randomly. Palace is one of the coolest skateboarding brands there are. so this really is a big deal

As both a Roadie and a London born and bred skateboarder who has seen the birth of Palace first hand from a set of Gildan Cotton tees and hotboxed seshes in Clapham Castle to the influence it has today, I can honestly say I never saw it coming.

The hanger is a direct mount Ollie. Nowt to do with getting the rear mech out the way. It replaces the need for that 💩 b link thing. Super nice bike though.
Petition for GCN to spin the cranks backwards so that we can see how efficient the drive-terrain is!
Just like wheels with ceramic bearings, unloaded spinning means nothing.

I believe it’s because they didn’t want to clash with the pink jersey of the Giro. Would have been nice if Jumbo Visma had shown the same respect to the Yellow Jersey
Where is the EF name on the jersey, are they not the main sponsor anymore?
I think there are only 2 possible opinions: wether you like it or not. There's not much in between. I personally like it as it changes a bit from some of the rather boring stuff, but this is of course in the eye of the beholder.
The stickers, often criticized here, are a perfect reflection of the skater culture. So it makes perfect sense.

Certainly stands out in a crowd. Too bad about the lack of integrated cable routing with those handlebars, makes it look a little amateurish. Same with the decal job on the seat tube. Why couldn't they paint that design on? All this research into ultralight paint jobs, and Cannondale goes with stickers? Doesn't seem like they thought this one out fully.
Also the multiple layers of clear coat to give the stickers the floating look.
