Dacia Duster receives new 1.3 TCe PF petrol engine in 130 hp and 150 hp versions
More power and efficiency for greater driving pleasure, fuel consumption always under control and reduced emissions
Like the Blue dCi 115 4WD diesel engine launched last summer, the new petrol engine also features state-of-the-art emissions reduction systems, including a particulate filter (PF)
In Switzerland, Dacia Duster 1.3 TCe PF is marketed from CHF 17'590.- (Comfort version)
After renewing the Blue dCi 115 4WD Diesel engine, Dacia is introducing in Switzerland the new 1.3 TCe petrol engines in 130 hp 4x2 and 150 hp 4x2 versions on Duster. The new petrol engines, such as the Blue dCi 115 4WD diesel engine available since last summer, have ultramodern systems for reducing pollutant emissions equipped, among other things, with a particulate filter.
The new, lighter aluminum engine block incorporates new innovations such as “Bore Spray Coating”. This coating technology, used inside the cylinder, makes it possible, through better heat management, to achieve better performance and increased driving pleasure.
Other technologies optimize engine comfort and reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, such as direct gasoline injection, the pressure of which has been increased to 250 bar and the mixture of which with air has been optimized thanks to a design specific to the combustion chamber. In addition, the "Dual Variable Timing Camshaft" technology, which controls the intake and exhaust valves according to the demands of the engine, provides more torque at low revs and more torque available, in a linear fashion, at high revs. .
This new engine offers a significant gain in terms of driving pleasure, with better torque at low revs and greater and constant availability at high revs. It meets the highest demands in terms of reliability and durability with:
130 hp (96 kW) at 5,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 240 Nm at 1,500 rpm, i.e. +5 hp compared to the previous generation
150 hp (110 kW) at 5,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 250 Nm at 1,600 rpm, i.e. +25 hp compared to the previous generation
The new “Blue dCi” engines incorporate the latest systems for reducing polluting emissions. Located in the exhaust line, the oxidation catalyst now incorporates "selective catalytic reduction" (SCR) technology. Working with a solution based on urea (Adblue) this technology also allows a greater elimination of nitrogen dioxide (NOx) emissions, better efficiency and engine performance.
In addition to the “selective catalytic reduction” (SCR) system, the dCi 115 is upgraded with a new Air-Water exchanger, higher injection pressure (2,000 bars) and reworked gearbox ratios.
Dacia introduced the new generation of its diesel engines to Duster, fitted with the latest systems for reducing polluting emissions. Renamed for the occasion "Blue dCi", this new engine guarantees increased performance and optimized fuel consumption for prices that are as unbeatable as ever.

@@mickdaly6537 well it feels strange to pay €27-28k for something that was sold at €19-20k a couple years ago. I owned the D2 and will replace it with the latest facelift this week. I don't feel it's VFM any more and at that price point, more improvements are needed to now call it honest. I am still buying it, as indeed there is nothing else out there, but I don't like this development.
@@manosskg a VW few years ago was 30ish k but now almost 40 so every car has gone up in price so at 27k it's a bargain if can live without gadgets

Yeah they removed this feature from their cars this year without saying, even the same models that had it before. If your car was made after June or so then it doesn't have wireless android/iphone built in, literally took away a feature of an existing car

I can only connect via wire. Is this a problem of my phone or of my system (xiaomi 10T)?
I have just bought a 2022 Dacia Duster Comfort & the wireless Android Auto is not on it, apparently there are very few Dacia cars with this feature on according to Dacia when I got in touch to complain, so my advice is to try before you buy.

Hello! So my dad have also the same Dacia Duster but black colour and have the Media Nav infotaiment and he have also a samsung galaxy s10(not s10+). The problem is that i tried to connect android auto wirelessly not with a cable and doesn't work, the android auto works only with a cable. Think you know how to make it work wireless?

Hy Dan, my Dacia Duster 2022 wont let me connect android auto without cable. It connect throught bluetooth, but then i cant use navigation.

Yes, i tried two phones, but the problem is when i connect phone with car, it gave me blouetooth is connected and thats all. It wont alow me to connect android phone mode.
Starting with slow system doesn't feel comfortable for the future with android auto.
To me the display looks pretty low, not so safe to focus on. A phone higher placed would still have my preference.

I have a 2022 Dacia Sandero and I can't get Android Auto to work using only the bluetooth connection. It works if I have the USB cable connected. My phone is connected via bluetooth and the Android Auto logo is on the media nav screen. When I press it, it times out with a message that Android Auto is not available. I tried removing my phone and pairing it again. It still acts exactly the same. What am I doing wrong?
Same here, nothing but problems. Now I tried installing the latest Android Auto on my phone and it says not available in my country (Latvia).
Once I pair the phone for the first time, the other times the car automatically recognize my phone when I enter, and connects without any operation or click (if bluethoot is enabled in the phone)?

Yes you can listen music at same time as android auto or apple work. Also it you speak over the music 👍🙂

Hi, I have a 2021 Sandero with this system, it works fine except for when i am driving past a certain point in the city centre, the Wi-Fi disconnects and will not reconnect until I drive away from the city centre, all I can think is that other Wi-Fi spot affect the Wi-Fi in my car, does anyone have any ideas?

Hi Dan, I just bought a new 2022 Dacia Duster, EU version, and I tried to get Android Auto to start like what you showed here, but it only works with a cable attached. When I unpaired and started again, it asked for a country, but now it won't ask. That is after I unpaired from the car and my handy.

Same for me. Received my duster extreme today, and wirelessly it simply won't work. Not an issue with cable. Quite underwhelming. Phone does support it. Car obviously, too.

@@Kistenboy I actually received a reply from Dacia's official support, because my dealer didn't know what it could be. The support told me that since May or June 2022 they build that media nav system without wireless module due to the chip crisis. So everybody who received their car before is lucky. However, support offered me 100€ so I am able to buy a dongle for it. Not ideal, but the support is good!

Nice video, I have a question if you could. What does the Dacia app do, either when you use it in phone or car's screen? Is there any connection or app between the car and your phone to show the car's data (4x4, eco tips, etc)?
I'm just asking because I really like the car's features (4wd) and I'm willing to forgive some things in the interior but the infotainment sucks for 2022 in my opinion. Huge bezels, poor quality, satin finish (seems cheap) and the graphics are just awful in the main menu section. Very poor design and specs, like some kind of cheap Chinese tablet device - worst user experience I had ever and by the way I'm a UX/UI designer, so kinda bothers me.
It's just that it gives some useful data of the car. If I could show them in my phone via some connectivity with the car or even an extra ODB connector and an app, I would replace this infotainment system with another day 1 of ownership. Cameras and other controls are not an issue I think, there are models supporting them.
In any case kudos for the video! It was helpful, will go to check it out live tomorrow. Maybe it's not that frustrating after all. I'd still like to change it with an aftermarket though(: Besides than that, the car is just very very good for the money. Proper off-road vehicle, running cheap on gas. It will get you everywhere and the adventurous looks really works for me having seen it live.

I bought a 2023 model Journey package 1.3 Tce 150bg Duster. There is wired Android Auto, but no wireless Android Auto. I asked the center, there is in European productions, not in productions made to Turkey. Remote engine start and many other features are not available for Turks. @Dacia_Turkiye
