I'd lose that USB stick
Not sure why there's so much hate. I think it looks cool. The shadow box and resin statue, especially. All it's missing is an artworked vinyl soundtrack. And for the record (pardon the pun), I think the "Tales" games are pretty damn good. The only bad apple, in my opinion, is 4. Oof.
Well, I think the fact that they had to change it 3 times due to overwhelmingly negative feedback says something. It's pretty pricey for something that they quickly threw together.

What was your favorite Monkey island game?
Bit of an update, mixnmojo did an interview with limited run games and said this about pre orders;
"It will be a four-week open preorder. We originally announced an October 30th preorder launch date, but we have (currently) decided to delay a few weeks to hone the design and offering. A new release date will be announced soon unless we somehow manage to pull off revisions and get approval in time to still hit the 30th."
Thanks for sharing. There were quite a few nuggets in there that make me uncomfortable. I get the sense that they jumped a little quick to announcing. They really don't have any hard plans. In fact they just got Takes added a few weeks ago.

@@AdventureGameHotspot whats cool from the interview is theyre trying to add as many versions of MI 1 and 2 onto the usb so possibly we could get VGA, EGA, CGA, Amiga, Sega CD maybe even FM Towns versions

They have changed the package 2 times since. People were not happy. I think it is slated to have both now but I can't keep up. 🙂 Are you planning on buying Nocturnal?

They are counting on us being lemmings. Unfortunately, I'm going to be a lemming and do as they say. I'll own it because....well....it's Monkey Island.
