Great judgment by the judge. You don’t pull stuffs from the thrash and use. He went to the pool to injure himself while the rest of the boys were playing video games. Quite a smart move.

I agree with the judge's decision
The pool owner mother said he was not invited she should have asked him to leave
They're injured boy is the one at fault he pulled up the trampoline to the pool when they said there was nobody else could go out there
I'm guessing they caught it with their camera from outside to show how he was jumping off of the trampoline into the pool

Sadly both of these young men were great friends. The defendants Mom is so hurt by this also and she is sadden also because of the friendship. Although a minor he appears the plantiff to be a very level headed young man. The plantiff is saying the defendant should have dismissed the boys. The defendant was being such a great Mom to both of them. Although he was there regularly he deliberately moved this trampoline and without notice to his friend began what was the stupidiest action and sadly one that has severe results.

The plaintiff SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF HERSELF. As a MOTHER, INSTEAD of teaching her child RESPONSIBILITY, she blames the mother of his best friend AND RUIN their friendship. This should have been a life lesson the plaintiff SHOULD HAVE used to TEACH her son, BUT INSTEAD, she is showing him HOW TO shift blame/ skirt responsibility. Shameful! Just looking for money.

This is definitely sad.I hope that they could still be the best of friends. And neighbors. Also I didn't hear anybody say about the young man asking permission to use this old so called beat up trampoline. You always suppose to ask permission for anything .Especially at somebodies else house. This would of stop 🛑 all of this from happening.

A few years ago there would have been no question who was at fault. Parents like the plaintiff is why our kids are off in the head. Teach your kids to take responsibility for their own actions. Society owes them nothing but and education. The world is theirs for the taking. Like a man said many years ago. “I’m a great believer in luck. I find the harder I work, the more I have of it”.

I know that it was reversed the plaintiff would say the same thing as the defender. She would not say yes I take full responsibility. She is right. He is 17 years old. You shouldn't need to supervise a 17 year old. Especially when you see them sitting playing games and having fun. The mother was trying it.

look lady... YOU chose to have 20+ kids at your house. If that was more than you were capable of supervising, then you shouldn't have done so. You could have enlisted another parent to help monitor them, or as the plaintiff says, you could have sent them away. Yes, he did something dumb, for sure, but I agree with his mother. She doesn't have 100% responsibility, he has some, but bottom line to me, I entrust my child's safety to YOU when they are with you. At what age does a child become responsible? if this boy was 13 would the need to supervise be greater and therefore mean the defendant is at fault? What is the standard for "how much" supervision a 17 year old needs? Also, hi, it's a party with teenagers...
