    I like 409... Does work better with a q tip than say a paper towel... Also Angela I tried nail polish remover for super glue the other day..to remove glue on a locket.... There was a brown tarnish spot also (14kt gold filled will get a stubborn brown spot at times) Nothing worked so nail polish did the trick... So I said what the hey, tried it on Bakelite.... worked same as 409..

    Plain old baking soda and warm water works. It even tests black bakelite.

    Sorry I am new at this. I’m a little confused about whether the green bracelets were Bakelite. The swirls you were talking about helps indicate Bakelite? I thought that swab you showed for the green bracelets was tested on the orange bracelet. I am so confused. UGH 😣
