Thank you Brett‼️I’ll be using this method, it makes a lot of sense. As an open handed lefty I have to reinterpret your sticking - a learning constant✌️🌻

Your good man. I follow others but your another good one to follow. I've learned some things from you. Even though I'm in advanced mode some what. That being said you never know it all. Thank you for your vids

This is underrated most teachers skip this part they jus show u a pattern and say go practice it they dont show you how.My only issue is if im learning a a 6 note triplet pattern like KKRLRL. Do professional drummers learn all the permutations example RLKKRL and RLRKKL etc for each pattern for soloing purposes or do they have a set group of patterns they practice over and over.

Depends on what your goals are. You'd get a lot more mileage out of a pattern if you work on all the permutations. But you'd also get better faster if you just focused on one of them.

do you have any advice on doubling the speed of the pattern? - like once you can play it at 240 bpm - getting it to fit into a 120bpm groove is a little bit of a struggle
