I was a HAFITH when I was 8 years old…. I didn’t kept repeating the Quran and now I can only read from the Quran 🥲…. I realise now that I lost my life… I have started now again to memorise…. May Allah s.w help me to complete my mission and forgive me and the whole Muslim ummah around the world for their sin…. And may Allah s.w help those children become the example of Muslim youths and BLESS their parents… ALLAHUMMA AMIN🤲🤲🤲💙💙💙

I am also hafiz but I have repeated the Quran 22 times and I also did the Quran in opposite from surah nas to baqra I will make dua for you.

Just watching these kids makes me feel I have missed out on my childhood mashallah haha.
After a few mins I found myself switching off this video out of anger... on myself. It feels like a solid kick in the teeth as a father of three who is not himself a hafid. A much needed encouragement to wake up and move forward.
May Allah safeguard against all evil the two young men in the video and their teachers

As Salamu ‘Alaykum, akhi. I would like to warn you from qaza’, as shaving the sides of the head lower than the top falls under this.
Al-Bukhaari (5921) and Muslim (2120) narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allaah (blessings and peace of Allaah be upon him) forbade qaza’.
Naafi’ (one of the narrators of the hadeeth) said, explaining qaza’: Shaving part of a boy’s head and leaving part.
Al-Nasaa’i (5048) and Abu Dawood (4195) narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allaah be upon him) saw a boy part of whose head had been shaved and part of it left. He told them not to do that and said: “Shave all of it or leave all of it.” Al-Albaani classed it as saheeh in Saheeh al-Nasaa’i.
I know well that such a style is massively popularised, and therefore poses a fitnah to the men.
However we have to adhere to the Quran and to the authentic Sunnah. We will only find happiness and contentment, in this world and in the hereafter, by obeying Allaah and his messenger.
So let’s strive to shave our heads at equal lengths, In Shaa Allaah.
I ask Allah Tabaraka wa ta ‘ala to guide us toward the obedience of Him ameen.

MashaAllah may Allah bless these two boys abundantly and make them a source of khair for their parents and our Ummah. I am a revert and these two have really inspired me to embark on my Hifdh journey after I become completely fluent with reading Quran.

Only advice is to ask open ended questions instead of leading Qs to allow the students to express themselves more
