  • Has there gone by a day where you haven't slept? Most probably not.
How extremely wondrous of a blessing is it that just by covering a pair of 2.3 CM eyeballs, the entire mechanism of the mind and the body find rest.
How can we maximize what we get out of our sleep? How can we multiple our good deeds before, after and while sleeping? How does one deal with sleep paralysis? How much did the Prophet ﷺ sleep? And many more are the questions that will be answered in this knowledge packed episode of Al-Muwatta of Imaam Maalik.

Asc akhii. Not that we need validation or approval of the west of the prophets s.a.w. practices but patients that struggle with sleep apnea and breath hold in their sleep are advised to sleep on their side so as to prevent the weight of the tongue from obstructing the airway.

what bro Abdurahman Hassan didn't mention is that in a country like the West, many things can affect your sleep. I have an evil neighbour (may the curse of Allah be on her) who consistently keeps us awake in the night. When you eventually sleep, this will impact your sleep quality.

This is an issue of dispute and the narration is عجيب. To claim that the Prophet ﷺ would kick somebody while they are asleep seems rather strange. Allah knows best.
