This is dependent on the type of Farming system you operate... Some require daily change, some weekly change and some no water change at all.

I can see that all of ur fishes are housed, is it necessary to roof concrete fish pond?
it's not necessary. But for those using surface ponds like tarpaulin, concrete and plastic, roofing will help reduce excessive growth of algae as they can in turn compete with your fish for oxygen

Yes it is provided the water is not polluted

Hi, FarmLady, thanks for your videos, they've really helped me a lot.
But right now am in serious trouble with my fries and don't know what to do.
After 4 days of feeding from their sack, I started feeding them. First feeding morning and then in the evening but around 10pm after the second feeding, they start dying.
I ceased the feeding the next day for 24hours and the mortality reduced but they all got weak, and not active. I have changed feeds, treated my water PH, checked temperature, super neat pond, yet no change.
Symptoms include: weak, not active, struggling to swim, un-attentive to sound or vibration, sometimes swimming with sides, lay dormant at the bottom of the pond until they pass out.
Am scared, I don't know where else to turn for a solution please help me.

If you don't have it you will need to do it first. There is a lot more water requirement when it comes to hatching.

You didn't address the cause of 2 weeks mortality and solutions in this video
I believe that was addressed properly in the video. The water parameters not been right is the major thing that causes high mortality. Take your water to the lab first. Send the result to her or get someone to install a water correcting treatment plant
@@farahfishfarms3052 why exactly?What were the prescribed solutions? Microbial buildup, ammonia and low dissolved oxygen are the main reasons i know.
