If roofing it with a roofing sheets that absorb heat when the sun is hot is it good because I believe is the same as exposing it to the sun. Can I get the leaves (Oge) from other locations and put them in the roofed pond

Covering the pond didnt partially didnt kill it even though you didnt have to.
