They should be very minimal noise if they are well fed and arent threathned by any predator.

Thanks for your quick response,we couldn't dig the ground up to 3 feet because the ground is hard like rock ,we are able to dig a feet deep and raised the drinker and the feeder by 2 feet so as to get 3 feet, can it still serve the purpose?
