  • Hello friends. Here is a video on how to calculate the volume of water in your pond. A lot of farmers don't stock the right quantity of fishes in their ponds due to wrong calculation of the volume of water.

    Great video and hopefully when you do the stocking density you'll remind that the fish are growing and the number needs to be lowered so that they keep growing and do not get stunted.

      Absolutely correct. But In order to avoid reducing the quantity as they grow it's better to always have the end in mind at the beginning of every production cycle. So if you have an average targeted weight at the end of the cycle you can easily calculate the correct amount of space first before stocking.

      Convert to cm first then follow the same steps like I did.
      1 ft = 30.48 cm
