it's a weird relationship i have with eden and i think everyone has to someone they look up to, you feel like you know them but we don't know that much about eden, i feel like he's in a bad place a lot and i just am so thankful for him continuing to make music, he's helped me change into the person i am today. and i can say he is the reason i'm still around and i pursue music, so thank you eden for all you've done for me without you knowing

I am not too proud an individual to admit that my first time listening through this album, knowing this was the last song on it and just sitting at 2 am listening to the lyrics there were some real tears there. Only artist that’s ever made me cry.
austitch I remember listening to Wake Up and rock+roll and Eden's previous works and silently crying into the sleeves of my sweater the first time. I felt so moved. I was shocked at myself because I don't usually feel so emotional. It was an instinctive reaction. But this was sometime back of course. Now all I do is smile when I listen to Eden's music. It's so beautiful!

It's been more than a year since I'd first heard this song, and I've changed so much; for that, I have to thank EDEN. "falling in reverse" literally changed my life. It's the song that I held onto during the second half of my first year at uni, when the weather was cold and downcast and I had no clue where I wanted to take my degree. I was in a new campus, estranged from my old friends, out of the house studying and taking classes from 8AM-11PM, and hardly spoke to anyone, even my family. It was during this time that I came across EDEN, and this song in particular. When I first heard this song, I broke down crying, alone in my room. It honestly spoke to me in a way that no other song had before. "falling in reverse" made me feel less alone. It was the support that I needed to enable me to go out of my comfort zone and talk to people -- something that, in retrospect, I really needed, as I'm someone who is both extroverted (aka loves talking to others and making connections) _and_ socially anxious. I'd always hear Kronk going "C'mon, what's the big deal, nobody's that heartless!" whenever the negative voice in my head would tell me that, once I'd opened my mouth, the person I was speaking to would hate me. I listened to this song whenever I felt lonely or afraid, and it'd always be the thing to both make me cry and believe that things could -- and would -- get better.
Now I'm entering my third year, finally with a concrete plan for my degree, and I'm happier, because I'm actually able to go out and actually start and keep conversations going. I'm so happy that EDEN's music, and especially this song, came into my life, because without it, I know that it would've taken that much longer for me to get to where I am today.
I know that he'll probably never see this, but on the off chance that he does, _thank you_ for your music. I'll always be grateful for it.
To anyone else who's in a similar boat, keep searching for that something that makes you want to see the next day. Honest to god, it does get better, and you'll be glad you're still here when it does. 💛

Truth and Downfall Definitely. He actually turned glass shattering into an actual timing mechanism. He turned it into a percussion instrument. I've never heard anything like that before and the way it transitions to those soft haunting strings. This song is just pure beauty for the ears.

How the album starts off with EDEN walking off in the distance and the camera slowly creeps up on him. Then halfway through the album we see his frontside and the camera starts leaving him behind. Then he's off in the distance again in this last video.
So that's it. I've been listening to this album every day for the last week. I'm brazilian and I don't know if I'll ever see you one day, but I really want to thank you for your music. I discovered you in 2016 and you've been saving me since then. Your songs just help me pass throught lots of darks' situations, and I don't know If I would be so strong through them if it wasn't for you. This album is just GOLD. Every single song its incredible and I just choose "start//end" for my favorite because of this lyrics: " Cause I've been looking at the sky since I was like five years old, Been looking for the start but it seems like they're all gone". It mean A LOT for me, because It is just how I feel since I was six. So thank you. You blessed me and I'm really proud and happy for you and this album. This song always blows me away with how well the lyricism match the instrumentals, intonation, whatever you want to call it. The song. It’s such a heartbreaker knowing theres a person in your head struggling in your body. That sorrow-some feeling of disconnection watching who you want to be and who you are. Shit made me cry.

Eden is a god on so many levels
i've never felt such a huge sense of comfort when my favorite artist of all time releases a song that relates exactly to the situation i'm in right after me having a panic attack and contemplating suicide, the words "you can save yourself you know" had such a huge impact i'm eternally grateful to EDEN you have comforted me and saved me so many times i feel the happiest when i'm listening to your music.
Anyone notice how the beat that starts around 2:00 is the whisker drums from Monster by ATO (produced by EDEN) and the glass breaking sound from Fumes combined into one? I love it, it feels like quintessential EDEN ❤️

I can related to the lyrics so much!, The song describe what depression feels like. Waking up everyday try to get out of that monsters thing inside your head everytime, but sometimes it's unavoidable, the song tell us to keep stay strong even though it seem like life is really fucked up.
I absolutely love this song, but I also absolutely have ptsd over breaking glass, so whenever I'm listening to it in public my reactions go from grooving to absolute wide eyes terror to back to grooving.
