Big Thanks to Criswell Chrysler in Thurmont, MD:

The thing I love about any regular cab is the visibility. It's a combination of the back window being closer but also the larger door glass. It feels sporty! And the thing I really like about the Ram single cab specifically is that storage tray behind the seats. It's not a lot but compared to Ford and GM it's huge. Thanks for showing it.
Especially plowing
This truck should cost $43k all in... Trucks are getting way too expensive.
Bought the same truck 2022 bighorn brand new. Sticker price was 88000 canadian dollars 😢😢😢.
I’m really not sure how this doesn’t have 100k views. This is the exact configuration I’m looking for. With I could get it in Laramie at the very least.
This truck with Laramie would be awesome especially with Night Edition 🔥🔥🔥! Thanks bro 👍🏾
Regular cabs are just cool. But a dually regular cab with a Cummins is a unicorn! 💪
Yup!
The lag you feel is programmed into the computer so you don't destroy the transmission. The Lag is HUGE with the 48RE Trans. Thanks for the 2DR review. I have a 07 5.9 3500 DRW 2DR and I love it. Because it is shorter I go thru just about anywhere without problems and it tows like a champ. I have been thinking about upgrading to a newer truck haven't really found a reason too. I am getting ready to do a Allison swap and if I do the swap I will probably keep the current truck for ever.
I like the single cab configuration a lot. Payload is not over 6k but I still feel like it is more than plenty of payload for most people. I can not believe the HO cummins is a extra $12k. That is crazy.
I have a 2018 reg cab dually love it diesel 4x4 tows amazing!!!!!!!! 34k on it now it has had several electrical problemd x2 harness rubbed through and shorted out shutting truck down .Cheap wireing just cloth tape no loom over harness and poor routing and x2 hydraulic control units for abs & trax .I just ordered a 2024 f450 reg cab diesel .The rams body is no ford they rust and fast compaired to the aluminum ford body and the made in mexico stinks ford in usa and the fords are more power better trans so ram needs to up there game !
I like that extra door storage compartment. I would put some wrenches in there, especially since this is most likely going to be used as more of a work truck.
That rig is pure hauling power. A dedicated hauler made to work!
💯
Really nice truck... and pretty good price..
That blue is a nice color. It would definitely be my second choice. Thanks for the review JB. 😁👍
Ha, the lighter green is really nice too, saw one a week ago! Thanks Ric 👍🏾
@@JB_WhoWork I saw 1 truck that was like an Army green that looked real nice.
You could put a weapon in the door pocket that's what came to mind for me
Imagine seeing the truck that you ordered being reviewed by JB, how cool would that be. Hope that's how someone felt about it ! I ordered a new WS6 Trans AM in 2000 that no one was supposed to drive, the service manager and 2 salesman passed me in it on my way to the dealership to pick it up @ 80 mph in a 50 mph zone. I pulled in right behind them, well it's a long story...........
It has a option for a 50 gallon tank. But the person that ordered it didn’t ask for it. And that’s stupid. The person should have gotten.it’s only $225 upgrade for it.
I didn’t see the fuel tank option for the regular cab which is very very silly….
Yeah, if I'm towing something that requires the use of a dually, I definitely want to make the fewest amount of fuel stops as possible
Yup and with a 28 gallon tank expect 180 miles max!
@@JB_WhoWork that's insane makes the truck almost obsolete rather have a overloaded single rear wheel with a bigger tank than a truck I have to stop every 3 hours with.
This is a transport truck you don't order that garbage 50 gal because you are supposed to throw a Dee Zee external tank in the back
This truck look EPIC ...I love it 👍👍
🔥🔥🔥
One of the first years dodge came out with their 2 gen. I was working construction as a kid with my grandfather and someone pulled up in at the time a new one just like this. Ive ever forgot how bad i wanted one
Be passing thru Maryland @jbreviews July 1st keep a eye out for this mega bought thanks to your channel brother!
Regular cab. Awesome, finally 👍
Thanks John, I would do more but they don’t exist around me 🤷♂️
Thanks JB. Good video as usual. I have a question. I ordered a single rear wheel 3500 HO mega cab without air suspension. Does that mean I'm going to have an overload spring?
Good numbers just wished ram would break down max tow and Tell you conventional 5th wheel Gooseneck separate Basically like GM does if they can do it The other 2 should be able to
GM💪
Finally a review on a ram regular cab dusky. I can’t find any for 2021😕
Dually*
Still wondering if we should have went with the dually?!?! Good stuff man!
Great video! Can you do a review on the 3500 single cab dually GMC? Would greatly appreciate it!
A 2022 please I’m about to get one tia
If I find one I will!
@@JB_WhoWork Hope you do bro I would greatly appreciate it!
Bad ass truck 💯
I’ve got the dually limited shortbed and love it, same color with high output, it pulls my 10k boat so well.
You don't feel anything behind you
10k is like grocery bags
Gorgeous truck.,one of a kind🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
powerful truck. Good job braking it down. Ever thing I would have ask before thinking about buying it. At them prices if I can’t make money on it. It’s not coming home just for looks.
How much is it
great video, thank you.. I just got a 2020 I have had Fords... Ram is awesome! love it
is truck sold, test drive allowed anyway? i hope ram offers the olive green in '22 or a continued carry over after the chip madness crazy $$ over.
Reg cab which is retro , truck gas hog. I'll give ya 40k!!! Help me help you..... Lol. Man miss those days of easy back and forth with out getting hammered. My gramps in the mid 90s had a burgundy metallic flake reg cab. Sharp and had decent luck out of it while they traveled with their 5th. Good review yet again
Thanks David, I look for these trucks but they typically sell fast, special ordered, or dealers around me won’t stock them…
There are still some willing to give a fair price. 2022 Ram Laramie, fully loaded plus the kitchen sink. Southern California = window sticker 100K, two most popular dealerships in Idaho, MSRP and $1,500 above MSRP + $2K above that with my own financing. Then The Lord lead me to Junek’s Sales & Service in Spearfish, SD. Carson accepted my 2022 order at $6,300 under MSRP. GOD is good!
Mark dodge in Louisiana gives really fair prices.....on 2022 ordered Ram 11.5% below MSRP.....and I am in CA....Even with shipping or traveling it's less than anyone I've found....incl the IDAHO dealers...
Very nice truck!
Holy crap! A dealer with inventory!
🤣🤣🤣
No, it was an order for a customer that they couldn't close once delivered. Won't last long as it's ideal for a couple with a 5er.
well I just found my next truck
You won’t be disappointed!
I own two Dodge Durangos and I'm looking to add to my collection fat boy 3500 four-door dually hopefully here pretty soon but looking for an older one Dodge family for life
Is it really only a 28 gallon tank?
Unfortunately…. It’s insane the stuff manufactures will do, makes no sense at all 🤷♂️
@@JB_WhoWork yeah,...... just like this idea of mine.....scrap the 1500 eco diesel and MAKE RAM produce a 2019 RAM 1500 6.7 Cummins!!!! 🤯
It would be my affordable dream truck!!!!
They need to make it happen (only because I can't afford the 2019 2500 6.7 Cummins) 😞
@@jayboogie7956 the 1500 bottom end wouldn't be able to handle the power from the Cummins.
@@jayboogie7956 1500 with a 4BT and six speed!. I have a ecodiesel with 200k on it. I should pick up a 2021 3500HO this coming wednesday. I've been pulling a little dirty with the ecodiesel for the past year, and I have a trailer set up for work that it has absolutely no business towing.
That is what Dee Zee tanks are for
I just traded in my 2020 Laramie . I paid 64k for it last June . The dealer gave me 63k for it . Bought a 3500 single wheel and paid sticker .
I actually don't mind a regular cab....I dint have kids so back is storage only....a quad cab works fine for me....Ram doesn't make one in HD trucks....guess they dont sell well.....
Is a lovely truck
Aluminum Rims actually weigh less that the standard steel wheels I would guess.
Obviously
I would always stop and look at that truck looked so stubby compared to the silver one next to it
Wow. My estimate of 6750 was way off in comparison of the real payload.
Yea lot of extra options 👍🏾
Would someone be able to sleep in the front seat? 🤔
What did you say about the rear end a373 wow that's a really small the really small rear differential buddy really want to see a real get a real Tundra differential
Miley seriously
I just never understood why the front wheels lug nuts stick out sooooooooooooo far, when the rear wheels lug nuts have the deep dish look (which I love).
That just baffles me.
It would have been better with a manual transmission, that's my opinion
They don't make a stick anymore the automatics are stout no need for a rebuild until 250k
@@kyboy5 if that's the case I'll go old school then maybe a 98 or 99 Dodge ram 3500
Here in Texas. They’re still giving 5 to 10 thousand off
Really? Dealers here in PA told me that was “2-3 years ago” apparently they don’t do it anymore
Dope
what is the towing capacity on the gooseneck?
I believe I added it at the end
12valve cummins was the best engine
How long you think be till price trucks come back down ?
43k is high?
Never
@@tazman3726 that truck more then 43,000
I’m thinking end of July production should be pumping again
Yeah just want get 3500 tradesman like you had on video granite crystal
j’adore :-)
Regular cabs are nice looking but their time has come and gone in my opinion for most people. I mean I guess if you just used it for a tow truck then it’d be ok but even then if you have a family you will have to take an extra vehicle. And even with that you lose just too much in cab storage. I do like the looks of them though.
Nobody buys them anymore for good reason they have no room the crew cabs are worth the little extra
Well, with divorce rates being 60% plus nowadays, 70-80% on 2nd and 3rd ones... Marriages on the decline so Regular cabs might make a comeback in next 10 years....
What’s the payload capacity on these?
I always add it at the end of the video 👍🏾
@@JB_WhoWork I guess I think my question was suppose to be, why is it that single cab duallys have more payload capacity than a crew cab?
Great question, crew cabs are heavier than a single cab. If you figure your GVWR is 14000#’s and a single cab dually is 8000#’s (curb weight) and a crew cab is 9000#’s (curb weight) you’re going to have less payload 👍🏾
Ultimate tow rig
All that on cheap 17" wheels
67k no leather with a 28 gallon tank whoever bought that truck is a 🤡🤡🤡🤡
Way to climb on someone else's truck!
Lol no fuel
DEE ZEE TANKS Nuff said
I see RAM is still using those crappy Nexen’s.
Lol! All the tires RAM uses are cheap…
I’ve got same truck with mega cab, and crappy tires, what does everyone get as far as new tires? I’ve never had a dually.
@@rickper Ive been using Cooper tires, I’ve had good luck with them. My front right tire was wearing really bad. I did the Theuren alignment specs and it’s not wearing at all. The factory specs suck.
They are cheaper and last longer than cooper I got 70000 out of a single set of AT's
@@kyboy5 mine only lasted 30k
How can you offer reviews if you’re not an expert? You really think aluminum wheels are heavier than steel wheels!!!!
I was thinking the same thing. And the fifth wheel hitch is not subtract from the max payload. This guy is not very bright
How can you leave a comment if your not a critic???
@@JB_WhoWork lol. Don’t really mean to be rude just can’t help but point out the obvious.
@@homergarcia376 well it actually is taken out of payload when it's a factory option
@@natekeyfauver9352 the puck system is a factory option, the hitch itself is a dealer option so the hitch wouldn’t be subtracted from the max payload from the factory. You would have to subtract it yourself.
