    Thank you kindly sir for the great explanation, I have a friend in France, and I want her to use my internet connection, she is using Data from her mobile phone SIM to share hotspot for her laptop, when I configure the options or configurations described in the video for my network and want her to access my network, does she has to do it from her laptop being connected to the mobile hotspot or is it better for the mobile to get connected to my network or internet and then sharing it via hotspot to the laptop?
    Thank you in advance sir!

    Think this could work with companies that only allow US wired IP addresses to connect? They don't allow VPN.

    I've been trying this for weeks and cannot for the life of me access my home network! This is probably the 5th guide I've watched about this same exact method I've done everything and still cannot access anything outside my home network. Also note my isp uses ppoe on our rural fibre network not sure if that blocks this method but it appears to be the case.

    What solutions are out there to access a stand alone wifi network which is not connected to Internet? Literally a solar inverter which has its own WiFi signal, to access it i need to connect to that particular wifi. Would it be possible to somehow bridge that network with my home network?

    • @jerry27syd
      @jerry27syd Před rokem

      You just ocnfigure your router to add your private IP to DMZ with a port number and you can connect to your public IP with that port number.

  • @AnonX1

    *COUGH* I'm sorry your WHAT address.......? Did you mean your IPv4 IP address? Cuz your talking complete nonsense with a 81.255.355.x address....?
    Lol.... You are claiming you have a LIVE DNS THAT ACTUALLY RESOLVES SOMEWHERE and it has .355 as the 3rd octet..... Meaning your using a different protocol then bianary (or Hex) since IP's only use binary(or IPv6 -Hex) code with 8 digit's per octet in a IP address... aka 256 combinations of 1 and or 0's (2^8) combinations of 1 and 0 inside a single byte (aka 1 of the 4 octet in a IPv4).... *Quick FYI IPv6 DOES use HEXIDECIMAL, NOT binary for it's IP addresses... however the first address this guy lists is not in a IPv6 format... Nor is it a possible IPv4 address, since again, you cannot have a digit higher then 255 in a IPv4 address....
    This is why It's SO frustating watching people DESTROY their computers, IT equitment, home and bussiness devices then want people like me to just quickly fix it for free.... Just because someone is ON CZcams DOES NOT mean they have ANY CLUE what they are talking about. If the gentleman above worked in ANY field of IT/Networking or had real Exp in it he would NEVER have proposed a address containing a digit higher then even 254 actually (unless it was a subnet/gateway/ or broadcast address, etc).
    I'm happy you were nice enough to make people a video, I don't mean to shit on you dude, I just wanna bang me head against the wall when I spent a quarter million dollars in loans and 6 years of my life going to school for this stuff, then another decade working for bussiness grade ISP's, and today I can't find a job that pays better then Mcdonalds (seriously thats not a joke, McDonalds paying 20+ locally)... But I feel like this is a HUGE reason why I can't find work, because everyone thinks they are IT guru's because they watch misinformed content on youtube that just barely passes to produce a result mimicing what is actually wanted, however with NO precautions what so ever... like 90% of the time I see completely naive-to-tech people try to follow stuff like this from youtube they inflict upon themselfs FAR more problems, issues, security holes, etc then if they did nothing at all.
    There are so many reasons you should go to a professional for tech help people.. I beg you to just be mindful that just because there's a video on youtube that looks like what you want, there's 4x as many reasons to double check with someone who knows what they are talking about before attempting to blindly implement it. I really hope this message saved in 1 persons equiptment, network, personal information, etc..

    Do you need a static ip

    • @philipprudhomme6967
      @philipprudhomme6967 Před 3 lety

      The external static address side of things is taken care of by no-ip.com - or your service of choice. The device inside your home network can usually be assigned a static internal ip address by your router. This is a good thing. You need to know the mac address of the machine, pair it with the ip address you want using your routers set up, and jobs a good 'un. There are CZcams videos that explain this better than I can. But you don't need a static ip address from your isp, some isp's don't even offer that. Thats what no-ip.com is for. Good luck, take care.
