This is how I set up a point to point from my house (Site A) to my building space I rented (Site B). We have an internet connection at Site A but we do not have on Site B. I don't want to apply for another connection from ISP because it would cost me monthly subscription fees so I decided to send my Internet from our home Site A going to Site B using Ubiquiti Litebeam M5. This setup is called POINT TO POINT. This is a step by step setup on how I did it. This can useful in so many ways the range of these devices varies from each model, starting from 10 kilometers up to 30 kilometers or even more. Have fun and enjoy it.

I tried watching several videos on configuring the Ubiquiti M5 and was left scratching my head until I went through your video. Your video was straight and to the point, VERY understandable, and I had everything configured with absolutely NO PROBLEM. Thank you!!!
Very impressive tutorial, I really appreciate how you didn't mess around with details we didn't need, you explained exactly how to setup the two attenas perfectly. I followed your tutorial and got my system working. Good Job
Great tutorial, You didn't waste time with useless information and went directly to what had to be changed. When needed you explained why something had to be changed. Very good job ! Thank you !!
That was one thing i have been trying to learn and you have made me understand with less than 20min. Thank you so much.
Nice work. Love those Ubiquiti M5. Did a lot of work with those back in the ISP working days.
i know this is two years ago but trust me it really new to somebody like me. when i completed college, my first job is a wireless engineer even though i have not much knowledge in this field i had to accept because for me a new challenge is always welcome but sometimes it is very hard to navigate your way through expecially with no one to guide you. Thanks for this video
My question is do you see this and by this i mean m5 or ac gen 2 on your controller if you have one in your network?
Thank you for the comprehensive tutorial!
Torogi Pro your the best explainer i have come across the entire youtube eco system of ISP / WISP tutorials . Count me in .... liked the video and subscribed going to share as well thank you once more
I'm a newbie about setting up internet connectivity wirelessly, and although most of the folks here are now using telco fibr connection, but I'm pretty sure that this is the best configuration that I will be using if I'm going to have the necessary hardware. Thank you, Sir.
This very very express. Thanks for taking out your time to teach us this configuration
Very good job Sir. Direct to the point no fillers perfect. TY
Great job man, your channel the best. easy to learn
Thanks for this tutorial, i was able to use my stock litebeam m5 and make it work to connect in my tenda router with 5ghz wifi..it works👍
Excelent explanation. You help me so much! thanks ! Congratulations!!
I used a similar 2 CPE - TP-LINK 710. 5ghz wifi. Looks physically similar to Ubiquiti. Installed it about 6 miles apart clear LOS from my home (AP mode, internet source and local home network) in Fremont, Ca. to my mobile location (client mode) in Fremont Park for internet access and VPN to work (telecommuting). Works great, high speed internet! Used silva explorer compass, google maps and binoculars for rough aiming of point A to point B. (Landmark) Then fine alignment position by turning one (CPE B because I am now in the park) either sideway direction for maximum signal strength using TP-Link monitor software.
how much speed did you get?
Thanks BRO!!!! This is great!!!! I just hired Starlink out our farm, and I needed internet at other location, it is working!!!!! I need an access point now...

GREAT VIDEO!!! new subscriber from now. I have a question, (also if i may have already my answer), could be possible to connect two points at 35 km air distance, theyre two far towns i've homes. this two towns obiuvsly don't see each others at view, second one is a bit taller and first one on sea level. To say theyre located different and not in front of each other.
Great video, no speed test 🤷🏼♂️
Nice video. Btw, do you know if we can configure the LiteBeam as Access Point like you were saying at the first minute? I mean, only using one device?
Very good
This is very very informative. Is it possible to extend to a site C?
wow amazing..I can possibly get signal on SM mall here in province..
12:18 antenna is too close to the wall, research about fresnel zone to calculate the distance correctly. 😁
Informative video. What are the items needed to purchase to have the same setup? Thanks!

Helful Video
Nice one.. I'm trying to start a community wifi connection in an township for about 800 users..thinking 4 of this Litebeams can actually do well..
Do you require 2? Is it possible to use 1 to extend the wifi signal?
Do you provide tech support. I'm trying to set these up as point to point to point. Can't get last leg to work.
Hi!!! what if i only have a comfast can is it possible to be use like ubiquiti?
Sa station A sir, ano set up mo doon b4 distributing the internet con?
what is actual distance are you applying in this video. are they blocked by building/ landscape?
how can we provide WiFI internet services to indoors as well outdoors for long range usage approximately 1 km with high speed internet services ?
what is the adapter you plug it in your laptop?
Will this work even the 2 location don't have a clear line of sight yet only has a distance of 5km
What if I have 1pc. m5 only, can I still connect it to a wifi router directly to have an internet connection?
Is it applicable with the wifi voucher every site b,c,d boss? Can we get the maximum isp speed with the m5 unit?
10km for open space or even the location is agri land if it oki the lite beam m5 or some lite beam
Nice tutorial bro. Just want to ask how tall should the site A and B litebeam install? Is there a minimum and maximum altitude for each device? If so, what tool should be use to make it stand outdoor? Thanks bro?
Was wondering the same question, in my case our surroundings is covered with large trees. Should I lift it up higher than those trees? Maybe it kinda looks like a mini tower🤔
Depends with the kline of sight
Having the same thoughts here. My location is in a Village/Subdivision and my Site B is in DownTown, but its just 3-4KM Only.
Well explained ! i have a question the antenna can not share wifi and receive signal at the same time?
Yes amigo,
what do you recommend for 30km range?
Thanks po sir. Great tutorial, tips and advices. Try ko po samin. Nasa ilang km po from home and apartment nyo po? Thanks
