  • In this video I review the TurboTorch TX 503 (the 500 and 504 are the same torch with different tips). It's a great torch and I have been happy with it.

I had a Bernzomatic TS8000 and it stopped working after less than a year, I would have expected better for $60. Even when it worked the flame was not focused the way your TurboTorch is. I think it's time for a well-deserved upgrade!

I think you will be satisfied with the TurboTorch, I also had a Bernzomatic before and the TurboTorch works so much better. I find that the heat is more concentrated and easier to control compared to the Bernzomatic.

@@DragonBuilds Thanks, I'll definitely get the Turbotorch! And I'll throw that Bernzomatic in the garbage where it belongs.

@@cuplover26 Yeah, Bernzomatic is indeed garbage.

At least you got less than a year out of it, my TS8000 fell apart after clicking it 3 times to test the ignition. The button and piezo switch fell out of the front before even hooking up to gas.

Thanks for showing us your torch ,i got one given but when i put a bottle on it i did one job and next day it was empty it leaked somehow i thought there may of been a rubber washer on the inside where you nip the gas cannister up to yours didn't show one so im wondering now how it all leaked out ,there was no hissing or anything and the bottle was nipped up tight so i dunno ? any ideas would be helpful , greetings from Wales UK .

You can try using soapy water or leak test spray to check for leaks. Be sure to check the connection to the gas cylinder and any joints on the torch itself. There is a washer on my torch on the connection but it is secured with the center brass nipple so it is unlikely to just fall out.

@@DragonBuilds Thanks for replying ,ive just checked on mine and there is a brass nut with a centre column to it where it fits into bottle .it steps out slightly before the long part of brass rod and theres no rubber seal on it if thats where it goes it would be a very small rubber seal ?

@@indianatone218 Hmmm, what type of connector does the gas cylinder have? I know the USA and EU use different threads, not sure about the UK.
