What size needle should I use on an adler 30-1. Im having a problem where its not sewing, its not picking up the thread every time from the bobbin. Its not stitching. What could it be. Thanks.
It is not always the needle that is the problem. In the operating instructions (manual) www.manualslib.com/manual/461567/Adler-30.html?page=4#manual you will find how to avoid problems with this machine, including the reason why it doesn't stitch sometimes. The needle you need will depend on how high it is placed: Nadel System 332 (normal distance) or Nadel System 332 lg (higher). Perhaps you will find this is in a specialised shop or vintage online.
