It did help a lot. I’m like him, I’ve used them before but so seldom that I forget how. ONE TIP, he said to keep the long strap straight, but if it’s a long strap and you’ll be driving down the hiway or at speed, a straight strap will flap and spin vigorously but if you put a twist or two in the long strap before threading it through the ratchet it will remain more steady.
