Great video! This is certainly the best in depth Labadee video out there. I love the variety of things to do including the artisan market. It seems like you can get food, drinks, the beach, and some of the culture in one place!

Now that Royal Caribbean has opened Labadee back up, hoping it helps the Haitian people somewhat after all the turmoil they’ve experienced over the past several years.
Well, at least a few of them will have part time jobs thanks to the tourists.
As for the turmoil, good luck with improving that.

Great Video Matt. The only comment that I could think of is that Labadee has the Hottest Sun in the Caribbean. Keep reapplying that sun screen.
We just got off Oasis that stopped here. My wife rented one of the cabana things in Columbus Cove. Best money we spent. The staff brought us our drinks so we never waited at the bar and we were real close to that dining area. Absolutely the best way to spend a day at the beach. Oh, the view of the ship was nice too.
Thanks Matt for the tour I had an interesting time there, I was using a mobility scooter and pretty much got around OK but I felt that when I got back to the food area I was ignored and not helped to find out more about what food choices were available and where to park my scooter or no it seem like there was no one to help me that but other than that it was just beautiful out there thanks again for the tour

Went to Labadee in 2019 & it really was just a beach day, we really liked seeing the local artisans & their work. The one thing is it was just really hot lol I couldn't stay on the beach for too long. I didn't walk around too much though, if we decide to go back then I'll try to do more.
Very happy to have this. Going to Labadee in November with some people who have never been, so I'm glad I can give them the lay of the land.

We had an over water cabana. We originally purchased a beach cabana and were upgraded as the original location we being used for a staff party. It was beautiful but if you have any mobility problems it won’t be easy to get into the water.
How much was it to rent it?

I loved Labadee. I wish RC had a 7 day cruise that just went & stayed there. There's more than enough to see & do & we weren't impressed by Cozumel or Falmouth.

Thank you for this. Never been to Labadee but it looks like I might like it better than Coco Cay (can I say that out loud?). I'm not really a pool/lay around on the beach person. The walking trails look like something I would love as well as the alpine coaster. Can't wait to get there and explore for myself.

Be careful about getting too far away from the main area. Like they say, it’s a peninsula, NOT and island and there is a fence separating this area from the rest of Haiti. There are some sketchy individuals there that try to get you into their shops. We were there right before Covid. Food was blah, flies all over it. Beach area is beautiful but we decided there was more to do on the ship.
We visited Labadee in February on the Jewel of the Seas, and I had low expectations of this stop. But, I loved it! There aren't many videos out there of this port that are as bright and pretty as this one, but luckily you had great weather. We did too and found this to be the best beach day. The Zip Line is expensive, but it was worth it, and we had never done a zip line before.

Thank you so much for all the valuable information. I do have a couple of questions if anyone knows the answer as I have been unable to find the answer. 1) I don't plan to go into the water but would like to watch my grandchildren from the beach. Will I be required to purchase a waterpark ticket for myself so that I can watch my grandkids? 2) Can the deluxe drink package be used on Labadee Island or are these drinks a separate purchase? Thank you in advance!!
I wish they more ships go here on the eastern Caribbean trips / Southern Caribbean to Aruba , Curaçao ( instead of perfect day Coco Cay )
Do you know if they have beach wheelchairs available and if so, how do you go about getting one? I would be very interested in hearing anyone's experience using a wheelchair in general at this destination.
Matt, Labadee looks like just what a Caribbean vacation should be. I couldn't imagine wanting anything more ,except mabey a week or two more time to do it all. Well there's always next year ! Q: How long did it take you to see and do it all ?

Hey Matt! Great video but I have 2 questions, first being does the suite-exclusive beach include people with junior suites? Also for the parasailing, my other 4 friends managed to get the same time for parasailing but there wasn't a spot left for me, what do you recommend for me to try and get a spot with my friends?
No, JS is not included with access to Barefoot Beach. My only recommendation for parasailing is keep checking back and then onboard the ship talk to Shore Excursion desk about what could be done. There may not be an opportunity, but you neve rknow.

Thanks for this, Matt. I'm going on a cruise tomorrow on Vision of the Seas and was really planning to stay on board on Labadee day. Now maybe I'll venture out on some of the walking trails and go directly to the crafts market (I forget what it's called) and will totally avoid the one where the vendors are so aggressive (you called them friendly, whatever).
