Since you are the 2 cars making a baby I have a question for you. I have an 1986 chevy monte carlo SS with TTops and I was thinking about putting in on a newer camaro chassis. Would it be better to get a convertible or a coupe to start with? Also do you think it would be better to cut the monte in half or trim the hell out of the camaro?
Hey i know monte are full frame cars , u sure the camaro is ,i know all the older ones are unibody meaning the frame is made to the floor of the car ,Newer ones iam not 100% on ,so something to look in to@@shelbyhull3283

Man I wish I had 1/10 of your energy and motivation. I have plenty of builds I want to do, in my head but couldn’t stay active enough to achieve in my lifetime what you do in a year, even if I did have the time. Which I don’t. Lol
Why wouldn’t you put fender covers on the fenders or blankets or something?

Put mini tubs in the rear and put some awesome big wheels on it. They need large wheels. Everything else you said was dead on what I would do. Your the man!! We don't need no stinking dash!!! Lol
They sell an aftermarket core support. Polished aluminum with LS radiator and condenser. Only about $2500. 😂😂 Sooo worth it.!
Really lovely car. My father bought a new '55 2-door when I was 4yo. I still have fond memories of it even tho it was traded in on a new 1958 Dodge which eventually became the most hated family car ever. Good times.😎
I like the proposed direction for this project. The color change to white and green will look good but I see nothing wrong with the current color combination. Steelies with whitewalls is a good choice but so are slotted mags and raised white letter tires.
This car would look sick with some deep deep dish 20 inch 5 spokes in the rear with 19s in the front. All chrome. Esp when its gonna be on air ride👍
Man those conditions... I don't know how you like working like that ... can't be that expensive to have at least clean painted floor on those garages ...
It’s hard to watch because of the condition he keeps his two shops in. I’m ex military and have OCD when it comes to things being tidy and in its place. I commented on this before. It is what it is.

Nice project, I say leave the paint, it would be the first non-spray painted car I’ve seen on the channel yet. A 50 something Chevy is a dream car for me, can’t wait!

Beautiful teal would look so good with a darker top. Too many with the white top, go with a dark silver or black... chameleon, little flip flop paint. Flat clear coat the top might be a different look. Bad ass tho any way you go
The reason why you do not see green Chevy's is the color green is an accident magnet. My Ford Focus was green and every time I turned my head, everyone wanted to hit, pull out in front of me, or rear end or front end my green car. I owned that car for 4 years and was afraid to drive it because it was that bad of an accident magnet, Cassey.

I'd love one of these! I'm in the UK, perfect colour! Definitely would go white pearl instead of that cream or a really glittery silver with loads of metal flake to go with that teal/green! With a bad ass engine, wheels and turbos *chefs kiss*

That powdery stuff around the grill is buffing compound.
Of the three I like 56 the most. The 55s were a little plain, the 57 Belair's were overdone. The 56s were just right, not plain and not overdone.
A LS motor should have 2.5-3.0 degrees of angle but never more than 3👑👑👑
Just the right silver to grey top would look nice too.
Those are the same plates I used on my square body when I swapped it
Call your parts place and tell them to send you a $4 transmission plug so you don't have to work in a lake of transmission fluid...

That car needs a badass 327 not another ls swap. Maybe even a supercharger but not a ls. Doing a ls swap on a 66 C10 and what a pain in the but it is. Conversion parts are expensive

your driveshaft angle is going to be too craz with it sitting like that. Pretty sure you need to cut open the trans tunnel to get it in the proper angle

Why wouldn’t you paint the engine bay and clean the engine? Like a little extra step would be so much better.

Raising the motor will make your issue worse it needs to go down and the rear of the tranny needs to go up
