As someone who failed saving most of the crew the first time, I watched the other guy die, so when I saw him go in, I thought he wasnt coming back out.
i had my moyth dropped to the floor and than drop my xbox pad, and remain speachless with tears in eyes... and then..... "Someone have something go eat?" :V
When this theme came on I nearly burst into tears. Grunt was one of my favorite characters and with this music i was almost certain he was gonna die. Thankfully i was wrong.
This scene scared the shit out of me. I thought Grunt was about to die, and when I saw him go over that cliff, I was beyond sad. I was ready to cry because my boy was gone. Thank god he came out of it alive
"The shuttle's down that path...I'll hold them off... Get out of here Shepard!" After these words I felt tears in my eyes and stopped breathing for a while, then he comes out of that cave and I feel like the happiest person on the Galaxy, tears of sadness become tears of joy.
"I don't need luck... I have ammo >:D" I got seriously worried that he might not make it out alive but then BAM!!! "Anybody got anything to eat??" Grunt ya beast!!! ♡
I love his little laugh, when this happened I was about to reset my system and let the Queen die to save him, but then he comes out at the end. But then there was Mordin then Thane, Legion, it goes to show just how good the series was, when each time someone died.... I felt like I lost a friend. Regardless of the fact the ending came up short, it was the journey through the saga of Mass Effect that made it worth playing and the characters we came to love.
the first time i saw this i cried grunt was my favorite charecter and for him to go out in such a badass way was just perfect and then he walked out afterwards asking for something to eat just perfect
Oh god... I cried, thinking, he was about to die... I still have tears in my eyes, playing that scene, although i KNOW what happens! Epic soundtrack, guys, thank you!
Damn. All the heartache, all the drama of this game, I wish I could blank my memory and replay every single damn part of it. Never before have I been so emotionally attached to a game before in my life. Bioware, I applaud you.
I know it's hard to get Grunt to die, but in one of my playthroughs I deliberately made choices so that some of my friends die in ME3 to make it more dramatic. When Grunt died in that playthrough, I got a realization - this music sounds dramatic and somber because if he does die, it means he never got to be a mature, adult Krogan. All the time Shepard helped him mature, helped him shape his own world view from experiences. And then he dies, not fulfilling his purpose, and his desire.
I swear to god... This scene inspired me to play as a Krogan on Multiplayer. Every time on the last wave, I make it to the ship at the las second holding off thousands of enemies at once just shouting into my microphone, "I AM URDNOT JESUS AND I AM KROGAN!!!" just like Grunt. To Urdnot Grunt: You lived in my playthrough and I put you on my career resume as a life inspiration... Thank You!!!
I remember seeing that scene and nearly crying thinking "OMG I just killed Grunt ;(" and honest to god when he survived I punched the air and screamed "YES!!!" at the top of my voice.
I remember this scene. First when Grunt charged towards the Rachni. I felt so sad, I thought it was the end of Grunt. The music, everything leaned towards it. It would be the death of him. But then he walked out of the cave, covered in blood. Words can't explain how... huge that moment was for me. How deep I felt, how happy. I can't explain it...
When I first beat this mission and heard the first piano note in the cutscene, I couldn't help but to keep think "oh shit where did I fuck up?" then it was so great to see Grunt come out alive.
All my companions are alive :D Except Kasumi. She lived thru the suicide mission in ME2 but for whatever reason she was on the memorial board on the normandy
When I first saw this scene my first thought was "ARE YOU F*CKING KIDDING ME?! YOU CAN'T KILL GRUNT!! I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY ARE KILLING GRUNT!!!" Swiftly followed by "OMG, I HATE YOU BIOWARE!! STOP TOYING WITH MY EMOTIONS!!" Then finally, a sigh of relief.
I really thought grunt was going to die the first time playing ME3, and I was so happy when he survived, but if he had to go, I couldn't think of a more fitting end to a warriors tale. Freaking love Grunt, glad he was able to make it to the Earth Homecoming Party with the Reapers 😎
In my first play though I watched poor Mordin die, then Thane (by then I was in tears) then I thought I lost Grunt and I couldnt believe I just lost half the characters I loved, but when he walked out after Shepard I was more than happy. I wish you could've hugged him.
Ya. I started shedding tears out of nowhere when I thought he died. Never before did i cry over a fictional character. I didn't even see the tears coming. He felt so real. :'l
I had already witnessed seeing Mordin and Thane die. When Grunt fell down that cliff I thought "damn, not again". Then we just walked out of the cave like the badass, I literally cried with joy.
This was one of two times when ME3 freaked me out because I thought a (former) squadmate was going to die. The other time was with Kasumi during "Citadel: Hanar Diplomat".
I was crushed when I saw Grunt run of that ledge. When I saw him walk out, I was slightly less crushed. He looked like he was going to die! I wasn't even sure if he could be saved! But he always pulls through :3
When Grunt walked out of that cave I slammed my fist down on to my knee so hard my hand hurt for a week. Any game that can make me do that is grade A in my book
Yep, same here. I felt the tears burning and I was so regretting my decision. Was one of those NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO moments. So damn glad I was wrong.
Who else felt that sense of; "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!"
When the piano kicked in?
I thought I was gonna lose him.
@@spiderz5145 the piano of no return "unless your grunt"
My turn hehehe
Kinda. But also pride. Can't get more badass than "my turn"
As someone who failed saving most of the crew the first time, I watched the other guy die, so when I saw him go in, I thought he wasnt coming back out.
"Shepard, thanks, for getting me out of that tank." - Grunt
I remember feeling my heart drop and my eyes filling up so much when he went over the cliff, I thought that was it for Grunt. Well played Bioware!
I don't need luck i have ammo
-Urdnot Grunt
0:45 I cried, you cried, we all just fucking cried
You have a right man ;(
rosenrot234 fair enough
+rosenrot234 I was like "REALLY?!" YOU'RE GOING TO DIE NOW?! OH, GRUNT!" then when I saw him when he returned I was like "GRUNT!!!"
i had my moyth dropped to the floor and than drop my xbox pad, and remain speachless with tears in eyes... and then..... "Someone have something go eat?" :V
“Anybody got something to eat.”
- Urdnot Grunt
My turn... hehehe...
Emiel Booth Daisy?!?! :D
Yep, in the flesh. *racks the pump of an M90 CAWS* Come on, I'm here, bitches! *takes the plunge into a swarm of pissed off Ravagers*
I am Krogan. You should be in awe.
I really am, Grunt. I really am.
Its i am pure krogan, you should be in awe.
When this theme came on I nearly burst into tears. Grunt was one of my favorite characters and with this music i was almost certain he was gonna die. Thankfully i was wrong.

Lol, when i saw grunt walked out alive, I literally yelled "You crazy son of a bitch!"
+zech007 i tackled my screen and tried to hug him :/
Do you even...I...I cried. You cried. I cried. My neighbors cried. My dogs cried. Everyone cried. Shit was so sad.
:'(
"I don't need luck. I have ammo." most badass line of the trilogy
"I don't need luck... I have ammo >:D"
I got seriously worried that he might not make it out alive but then BAM!!! "Anybody got anything to eat??" Grunt ya beast!!! ♡
I remember how it felt during my first playthrough. Fucking Grunt messing with my fucking feels.
"I don't need luck, I have ammo!"
Many feels were felt. ;(
Agreed
Say what you will about the story and ending of ME3, but the soundtrack is hands down the best in the series
LOT of bangers.
One of my favs is rannoch reaper battle
"Shepard get out of here!" that part almost killed me
I hope, if my life ever comes down to one defining moment that changes everything but ends in death, that this song enters my mind before I go.
I love his little laugh, when this happened I was about to reset my system and let the Queen die to save him, but then he comes out at the end. Grunt..the second best ME character, SOME ONE GIVE HIM SOME FOOD
Grunt was my favorite character
the first time i saw this i cried grunt was my favorite charecter and for him to go out in such a badass way was just perfect and then he walked out afterwards asking for something to eat just perfect
Oh god... I cried, thinking, he was about to die... I still have tears in my eyes, playing that scene, although i KNOW what happens! Epic soundtrack, guys, thank you!

To our brother Grunt! For some he may have died fighting the collectors and for others he died fighting the reapers. Grunt we salute you!

I cried like a little girl when I thought Grunt was going to die...
To Urdnot Grunt:
You lived in my playthrough and I put you on my career resume as a life inspiration...
Thank You!!!
it wasnt his last stand if you made him loyal in me2 he survives me3
This is the last stand music
Grunt's last stand was just unbelievably sad and epic and the music contributed a large part to that
Get out of here Shepard!
"But he does call himself Urdnot "
Thank you for agreeing with me. :)
Grunt,we salute you
"has somebody something to eat?"
I remember seeing that scene and nearly crying thinking "OMG I just killed Grunt ;(" and honest to god when he survived I punched the air and screamed "YES!!!" at the top of my voice.

Grunts' morbid laugh. The very best.
Why is it every time he smells blood or is around corpses, he asks if anyones hungry or got any food....
Everytime that piano plays. Oooh the chills.
Go, commander!
also the expression of shepards and grunts faces, the whole scene was perfect but ofc, the music made most of it
amazing soundtracks, thanks for upload
All my companions are alive :D Except Kasumi. She lived thru the suicide mission in ME2 but for whatever reason she was on the memorial board on the normandy

Grunt is the only person who can have a badass death scene... and survive.
heppy peole knows line: " Has some one something to eat" XD
When i saw him, cambe back covered in blood i litteraly say " YOU FUCKING TOUGH SON OF A BITCH ! Nothing can kill you right?"
"My turn~ Ehehehe~ 😈"
I really thought grunt was going to die the first time playing ME3, and I was so happy when he survived, but if he had to go, I couldn't think of a more fitting end to a warriors tale. Freaking love Grunt, glad he was able to make it to the Earth Homecoming Party with the Reapers 😎
the dislikes were the Rachni that Grunt killed
Who needs luck when you have ammo ? - grunt.
Epic moment with epic music. Love the pianopart...
In my first play though I watched poor Mordin die, then Thane (by then I was in tears) then I thought I lost Grunt and I couldnt believe I just lost half the characters I loved, but when he walked out after Shepard I was more than happy. I wish you could've hugged him.

Definitely teared up in this scene.
made cry just listening to the soundtrack
i always just immediately tear up whenever i hear this song...
When I saw Grunt go down fighting, I seriously couldn't help but Salute.
I had already witnessed seeing Mordin and Thane die. When Grunt fell down that cliff I thought "damn, not again". Then we just walked out of the cave like the badass, I literally cried with joy.
He almost died but he did not that just shows how much of a badass grunt is
This was one of two times when ME3 freaked me out because I thought a (former) squadmate was going to die.
The other time was with Kasumi during "Citadel: Hanar Diplomat".
Grunt, Thane and Mordin had the greatest moments
“My turn. Heh… Heh… Heh…”
"I don't need luck, I have ammo."
thanks^^
GOD ALMIGHTY, when grunt ran in to the horde of reapers my jaw dropped, when he walked out i fell to my knees..
Got chills
I was crushed when I saw Grunt run of that ledge.
When I saw him walk out, I was slightly less crushed. He looked like he was going to die! I wasn't even sure if he could be saved!
But he always pulls through :3
Grunt: I would never stab you in the back, Shepard. Military like you and me? Straight to the face.
At first I couldnt believe Grunt actually died.. then I was in tears of joy when he asked if anyone had something to eat. LOL
Urdnot Grunt: Puts the quad in your squad.
"I don't need any luck. I have ammo"
"i dont need luck... i got ammo" Grunt
Krogan is the ultimate warrior. And they all show it.
yeah it mayed me cry alot
I thought he'd be fine, until the piano kicked in and I burst into tears
When Grunt walked out of that cave I slammed my fist down on to my knee so hard my hand hurt for a week. Any game that can make me do that is grade A in my book
Yep, same here. I felt the tears burning and I was so regretting my decision. Was one of those NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO moments. So damn glad I was wrong.
They really made us believe we would lose him
"What a mess, anyone else hungry?"
when that first piano note dropped I stopped and was like "what the fuck did I do?
The person who composed this song made a lot of people cry at 0:45.
Brilliant piece of art.
Everytime I see Grunt all I can think about is his little laugh as he is about to fight so damn funny and cool.
I was saluting the screen when he made his last stand.
I nearly punched my screen when Grunt told Shepard to leave.
sums up that scene pretty well :P
In the game, when 0:47 kicked in I was certain he was dead.
I actually cheered when he appeared again.
This scene remind me that Grunt is a freakin' badass.
YOU ARE PURE KROGAN, WE ARE IN AWE!
"i don't need luck, i have ammo"
My jaw dropped until he came out at the end
*Sad piano plays* My god, what have I done???
*Epic music plays as Grunt comes out* he's ALIVE!!! WOO-HOO!!
Grunt did die in that cave. The reaper was just too scared to give him the memo
Like a true krogan, breaking expensive things.
Grunt is my favorite ME2 character. This fight was the reason why
Seriously awesome REply...! by Grunt
