@@gary9827 It is neither. You can't call it a soup if it is just the broth or the chunks. You can't drink the chunks or eat the broth making it neither. Although it is technically a food because you still need to eat it first but it needs a liquid you can drink to call it a soup, the basic mixture and properties of a soup make it neither a drink or a food apart. That's why it's called a fucking soup.

If we'd follow his logic, rice is also a drink, if you manage to swallow it whole without chewing.
