Why are French cities constructing MODERN TRAM lines if they will run 20-30 km/h? I know comfort, low floor, design, ecology but without traffic jams Buses are a lot faster then. Also (I really doubt that citadis trams are comfortable as any other rigid bogie trams, slowing down as low as 5 km/h on curves and joints and running cuality is very low on curves too. I mena I watch the video, beautiful disign of this citadis trams chosen for this line, perfectly constructed line, tracks and overhead wires, but 20 km/h limit everywhere? COME ON that's really sad, giving such an amount of millions of Euros for that crap.
In all other cities with Trams in France they run exactly like this, mostly very slow, for example in Germany even on curves they run much faster and on switches too. It is just France and their "perfect looking but slow and crawling tram systems".

This tram line contains many curves compared to other tram and it was the first day of commissioning of the tramway.
