Bro I like Minecraft, but it’s like I don’t have any creativity, it’s so hard for me to come up with something to do and actually finish it while making it look good.

Start with one house, use it as the template for others, that's your block palette. Get a color wheel and become friends with it to understand color scheme. After you've done that plan out plots for a few more houses semi randomly and start messing with a road to connect them all. Build the houses and repeat until it's as big as you'd like.
Everything begins with a single block!! We all gotta start somewhere!
I’d recommend doing it in parts, don’t think of it as a big project. Like to one house, then a windmill, then another house, and before you know it you will have a HUGE City

One thing that I do is that I have a little notebook for Minecraft so whenever some idea strike I write them down that helps me to always have a lot of ideas and project to work with and expand upon
I have that but as a note on my phone
Notion is where it’s at for me
I have that except it's a book and quill in Minecraft lol

Edit: forever people will comment on CZcams without actually watching the video. Yes, this video is on multiple minecraft worlds, yes I stated that in the video. Yes I use spectator in the survival (not hardcore) world for screenshots for thumbnails and yes it was the easiest way to show the cactus farm. Stop complaining that I cheated and just enjoy the video y'all. Smh

Hi fwhip how are you? I love your building designs
One of my favorite builds was a potion shop (was trying a birch and sandstone theme) back on a server I was op on in 1.4. Funny story, a hacker decided to dig a hole straight down next to a bush by my potion shop at spawn. Had fun spawning creepers on him while invisible before banning him. Then I found this little cavity straight down the hole (next to it, the admin had made a secret bedrock bunker), so I made this mushroom infested area with soul sand, redstone torches, vines and mushrooms. That was a fun build. :) I posted a picture of an underground cafe/theatre on the discord awhile back (impromptu underground dwarven village at the end of spawn) - the one with the enderman on a stage if you saw it. This was the height of Minecraft for me until 1.13 came around.

yes most of it is terraformed but it does use ampliffied worlds, it think, so has larger mountains
Honestly I’ve been having issues blending when building, like connecting different shapes without making it look wanky wonky

This is one of the most impressive worlds I've ever seen. It has fairly large builds but it's just so complete and full of character and life it's just sooo nice. All the hidden things and different builds are really great. Absolutely love it

I actually used that covered wagon starter house idea previously, it was a western build in the mesa. I set up a bandit camp with tents, covered wagons, and the like strewn around a watering hole.

I dug into the hill I built my house on to make myself a workshop. I put a wheat farm on top with trap doors to keep mobs from walking off the cliff above and fall on it. Also, a scarecrow. Adds a lot of character to the area
I’ve realised now that I used to build all of my things really close together which meant that I wasn’t able to expand. In my most recent world I’ve just built stuff for the sake of building it and I can say that it makes the world so much better. Everything is far-ish apart and instead of building all my farms together, I have built them in seperate houses or areas. Thanks for the inspiration fWhip. Catch you on the fWhipside ahahah

Haven’t played Minecraft in about 2 months. I built my first PC and got the Java edition of the game and played it for 2 months in a row and got bunt out, so I played a lot more MW. Haven’t touched it since I killed the ender dragon and crafted shulkur boxes, and made a lot of farms plus a villager trading hall based on your 1.16 survival world. Haven’t opened my world in about 3 months, I think I might start playing again thanks to you fwhip

the covered wagon builds make perfect safehouses along long roads between builds, every so often toss up a caravan camp or just a tent somewhere just so you can make it on the journey
