I've always wanted to see villagers actually mine, craft, and build their village. This is a good step in the right direction.
I completely agree with the idea of making the villagers do their jobs similarly to how the farmer actually does its job. It just makes sense.
Honestly, should be vanilla. It would make villagers feel more alive and not just mob-shaped trade stations. Something minecraft villages currently struggle with. Would be also nice to see a librarian put a book into the lectern and "read", or for a cleric to "use" the brewing stand, or for a toolsmith to keep the blast furnace visually lit. Of course, attempting to interract with those blocks should be met with the headshake, like when attempting to trade with an unassigned villager.

I love this idea, it would honestly make the game feel more lively in villages just a bit more,
I find the currency system quite nice and a good idea, but I think Villages should still use Emeralds.
Think of Emeralds as a base line, it works for everyone but isnât the most valuable, and then each village has another ore they find more valuable.
For example; in the Desert a villager may trade a bell for 36 emeralds, or a bell for 18 rubies. This allows for the Villagers to keep a âshared cultureâ while having individuality between biomes.
I think âwe need thisâ when watching every single one of your videos but this is definitely the best by far

1:52 what would be cool is if there was a mechanic where villagers actually trade with eachother, and this butcher trades the farmer for his wheat, in order to breed more animals. And it wouldnt kill animals unless there where more than two.
Would love to see you do something with the biomes that both have no villagers, or have villager designs but still nothing.
Like Swap, they have a design, but no function. Maybe if you trade glass bottles, or stuff witches drop like sugar, glowstone, ect, you can get potions. Starting from lame stuff like weakness, slowness, ect, to stuff like feather fall, water breathing, ect. Or even the ingredients, that way you can earn stuff like spider eye. Though, blaze powder is up for debate.
There is a Woodland mansion that is already a thing with Pillagers, but having something like a dark oak village would look cool, where maybe the villagers were wearing more dark clothes to blend in with the area around them. Similar to the Spruce Biome.

The Brute Pillager is a miniboss mob in Minecraft, and is a larger and tougher variant of the standard Pillager. They have a distinctive appearance, with a larger and more imposing body structure than other pillagers. They wear unique armor made of tough materials, including iron and chainmail, which provides them with additional protection against attacks.
The Brute Pillager is highly aggressive, and will attack players and other mobs on sight. They are equipped with a giant club as a melee weapon, which they use to deal heavy damage to their enemies. With a maximum of 150 hearts (300 HP), the Brute Pillager has a lot of health and can withstand significant amounts of damage before being defeated.
In addition to their strong melee attacks, the Brute Pillager is also resistant to knockback, which means they can quickly recover and continue their attacks even after being hit. However, they are slower than most other mobs, which gives players a chance to retreat or prepare for an attack.
When defeated, the Brute Pillager drops a variety of valuable items, including rare enchantment books, emeralds, and valuable materials such as iron and gold. They may also drop their unique club weapon, which can be used as a powerful melee weapon by the player.
Encountering a Brute Pillager is a challenging and exciting experience in Minecraft, and defeating one requires skill, strategy, and preparation.
5:04 Oh no, no no, to find that we are going to Brazil
Okay, but this actually adds so much in terms of automation! EDIT: I would love to see this implemented with other villagers! Stonemasons, librarians, clerics, tool smiths maybe.... perhaps even the wandering trader could do something.
Right off the bat, Systemzee calls out the squidwards.
On the villager farm: You would have had to get 16 villagers into specific positions. That's literally more than exists in most villages. That's not even taking to consideration you'd probably want to have butchers in there too to collect meat and other products. So if you're willing to spend the time to collect 20 villagers and transport them over thousands of blocks, because naturally this is a great set up for an iron golem farm too, you earned how strong that is.

You can add a "multi-gem", which is found in end island cave systems and it works as a pass-par-tout, an universal currency, which you can use to get the regular gems, and depending on the villager type, he will trade 1 sapphire for his gem.
Also re adding swamp and jungle villagers would be fun, and they would use like the newly added amethyst and another gem like the sapphire

Fact: In Bedrock edition of Minecraft. Librarian villagers actually also do their actual jobs as they interact or inspect bookshelves (maybe)
One Idea I have is a Sheriff and he will do two things one collect bounties from hostel mobs like: zombie flesh, invoker ideals, illigal banners from pillagers, and so on. He also organize the militia. When the villagers have a militia all the adults will fight back. Amors, weapon smiths, leather workers, and thatchers will supply the other villagers with the gear.

I think this idea is very cute. Imagine walking to a village and seeing the villagers really do their jobs. It would really feel like a town. Idk if I like the different currency idea tho. If the other ores are as rare as emeralds I think it would just be more work to explore and trade with villagers since the emeralds that you earned in one place is useless in another. But it is cool for world building purposes, it seems more realistic that different villages in different parts of the world would have different money like in real life. It's just less practical game wise imo
probably cuz they already have thought of this, but they figured out that making the things easier for the player was pointless
I was really hopping you make the stonecutter villager build stuff with the Structure Block and also expand and fix their village.
imagine loading a structure you made in creative and a villager helps you build it. don't want spend a hour to build a farm? have a villager or two build it for you!
Then theres another extension for that blueprints! First design the corresponding blocks and items to build it(and cords). And hold the blueprint near the stonecutter villager to go to that location and build it
Making more useful sla- i mean mobs
