This is KY and my retirement is struggling to keep up with that as well as groceries, sundries and gas. My utilities in the summer 2 years ago averaged about $220/month, and last year was about $325/month. Am scared about this summer. If it goes up anymore I might be using credit card debt to keep up, while those interest rates keep going up. Thank goodness I am approaching the end of my life span.

These people don't live in the reality of half the country. Because of inflation, property taxes and homeowners insurance, my mortgage has increased $100/month. This is KY and my retirement is struggling to keep up with that as well as groceries, sundries and gas. My utilities in the summer 2 years ago averaged about $220/month, and last year was about $325/month. Am scared about this summer. If it goes up anymore I might be using credit card debt to keep up, while those interest rates keep going up. Thank goodness I am approaching the end of my life span.
