- On Wednesday evening, the White House pulled Jim Acosta's press credentials. On Wednesday's No Spin News, Bill breaks down exactly where Acosta went wrong. Having interviewed many presidents over his career, and having often been criticized for being too harsh on presidents, Bill perhaps has a better perspective on this than anybody.
Nobody loves Jim Acosta more than Jim Acosta.

The Secret Service should have taken Acosta by the arms and frog-walked him out of the room. When the President says you're done and it's the next reporters turn, you stop talking and sit down. I believe Acosta deliberately provoked a confrontation. My last thought is that whoever was running the sound system should have just shut off Acosta's microphone.

When you start a question with the words, "I wanted to challenge you on...." it's immediately clear that you are NOT asking a question.

I'm 57. When I grew up, there was respect for the Office of the President. People didn't shout down the president, or demean him on the podium. They asked a question and sat down. The interchange between Acosta and Trump is more akin to world leaders talking / arguing. World leaders are allowed to question other world leaders in that manner. I don't remember anyone electing Jim Acosta to a world government position; or anyone else from any of these hyper liberal / hyper anti-Trump stations. By showing no respect for the office, you set a precedent for other nations to not respect it either. And now we are the laughing stock of the world.
