Good to see Loona get some attention again. She was pretty much MIA last episode, and the one before that her only line was through a recording from her phone.
And to answer your question, yes, the water was that toxic. If you look back on the warning posters before Blitz while on the dumpster it warns, 'LA water is 2% sewage and 98% acid, don't drink it!' Don’t worry if you didn't catch it, most reactors of this episode missed that detail.
Another small detail, if you're wondering what happened to Brandon 'Ragers?' Well, when Octavia regains consciousness, she sitting over his corpse implying she accidentally killed him when coming to earth.
From animation clips Vivzie has posted Loona would have a part to play in the season finale part 2 but for legal reasons Vivzie hasn't been able to post the episode.

The Brennan Ragers Brandon Rogers thing was great, there's a lot in this episode you gotta pay attention for and I kinda like it as an occasional thing.
This episode reinforces the 'stolas best dad' vibes and gives us some unexpected by very welcomed look at Loona.
I really feel the love from both Blitz and Stolas here.

8:37 - Poster next to Blitz said "Public Health Warning" about LA water being mostly acid. That's why Stolas knew to toss the water at the producer. Maybe not because of the poster but because Stolas was drinking it and since he has been to the mortal realm a lot he would definitely realize it was way too acidic for human consumption.

There was a blink and you miss it moment where Octavia accidentally kills the real Brennon Ragers when she came out of the portal. I guess that's why he didn't show up for filming.
No, Brandon Rogers didn't play Zim on Invader Zim. He was played by Richard Steven Horvitz, who also voices Moxxie. It is rather funny hearing Zim's voice as the voice or reason, given how crazy he was.
At first I had the same thought of shipping them, then going back I remember that Blitzo sent her to find Octavia. When she drops her coffee after checking Sinstagram, she remembers that Via is on her own and lost while she’s chilling out. The amount a chasing she does is frantic because it feels like she’s playing catch up. And when she catches up their conversation is a tough one. A perfect convo imo cuz a teen always is really seeking for love and adulation, and when you’re in a shitty position like Stolas, it seems like adult issues are more malicious than they are. And as a 22 year old adult, I’ve had to have convos similar to teenagers that can’t see a parent’s perspective on things. Sometimes they just need a little family to make their life easier. So Loona being a big sister for her to look to is so nice

Loona is 22, Octavia is 17, and their dads are dating. As awesome and cute as it would be for Loona and Octavia to date, the best we can get/hope for is they become friends and, fingers crossed, official stepsisters.

@@dragonite-nn3sv Yes, I know, but being in hell or adopted doesn't automatically mean it's okay to ship two characters whose fathers are in a relationship and could potentially merge the two families. It also doesn't mean Loona and Octavia are interested in each other in that way. This episode shows they have a connection, but not a romantic one. Besides, I'm not aware if the creators have confirmed what sexuality Loona and Octavia are, as they have confirmed their ages; Loona could be hetero and thus have no romantic interest in other women at all, and the same goes for Octavia.
Hellhounds, Goetia and Imps, to name a few, are natural entities of hell, not sinners who ended up there. The argument that they're in hell and something like step-sister relationships aren't wrong has no merit because being natural entities doesn't equal them having no morals and no line they wouldn't cross, as a sinner who was sent there might.

She may turn 18 later in the season, but we're already up to episode 3, with her only confirmed age still at 17. But for me, her age doesn't matter; my point is that she and Loona have a friendly and almost sisterly bond, not a romantic one, and we should not ship two characters that may end up as step-sisters. As for their sexuality, we've seen that Loona is at least interested in men, which means she could be hetero or even bi (and we just haven't seen her be interested in another woman yet). In contrast, we haven't seen any interest in romantic partners for Octavia.
As I recall, there were official Instagram pages for both characters, and they supposedly had birthdates on them, but toxic fans got well toxic, and the pages had to be shut down. You might be able to find some screenshots someone saved if you look it up, but I only know that as the pages existed and were deleted before I joined the fandom.

I've said it a couple times and I'll say it here.
Item the first- that ONE moment with the producer, you know the one- is *100%* a Sons of Butcher reference.
Second, this setting has shown heaven, hell, demons, devils & angels. Presumably a god exists too. Meaning he witnessed Loona & Octavia's _moment_ together, and did them a favor-
...for no other reason, than it was two vulnerable people, having a beautiful moment of solidarity, their status as 'evil demons literally from hell' notwithstanding.
ALSO, it just hit me, that there's a chance _brennan ragers went to hell._ Imagine if that led to him _impersonating blitz for fucking up his acting career._

19:16-19:50 this whole speech Loona says has more weight now, after S1E8’s release. “Sometimes dads fuck up”, and “He might not always get it right, but…he’s trying. That’s more important than you think.” Blitzø came to Beelzebub’s party feeling awful after Ozzie, but he still came to the party to help Loona even when he ultimately forced them to leave the party a bit earlier.
Fun fact when octavia first gets to LA the guy who puked with his eye popping out that died was Brandon Ragers a play on Brandon Rogers who does the voice of Blitzø, the reason the tv show people couldn’t find him is because he died, its also why Blotzø looks like him.
Loona DEFINITELY does not have a crush. If anything, they'd be sisters since their dads are dating.
Also Loona's thought process was either keep drinking her coffee and enjoying herself on Earth, or go find Octavia(like her dad asked her to) since she has an actual clue where she is.

Stolas has confirmed he has a photographic memory because of the fact he was able to recall something from 27+ years in a dream with extremely accurate detail
But that includes Octavia also and that she can do the same and she is only 18 so the fact that her parents would be fighting a lot even before she turned 18 she would be able to remember every detail of them fighting and that can affect her even more
Loona searches so frantically for Octavia, because she was given a direct order from Blitz. Hellhounds are psychologically from a young are to follow direct commands, and as a result it's difficult for them to not comply to said command
Oh and concerning the whole shipping buisiness, I have to agree , I shipped them too at first. But Oktavia (Stolas's duaghter) is 17 while Loona is 22. Normally 5 years isn't that much of an age gap, but in this case one of them is literally still a minor...
This was a tense episode. I once again can’t say I have IN-DEPTH research but I do have some stuff.
This episode is PACKED with references from previous episodes. I can’t possibly name them all, but I think Stolas’ water bottle burned the show producer like how Verosika’s flask made the gigantic mutant fish from the episode where human Loona 1st appears. I think the guy who tore off his shirt to reveal Blitz’s va’s name on his chest did the EXACT same thing for Verosika. Exact same animation. So all that is episode 3. Stolas appearing at IMP was very much how he entered the DHORKS base in episode 6. The NIGHTMARE entrance where he summoned himself in a blood ritual. LAST thing you EVER want to see.
And I think Stolas has a specific kind of gem stone, same as Loona, for the human transformation. More hell lore I’m not entirely up to date on. But I heard speculation Stolas was planning on giving gems like those for all of IMP and a way into the mortal world in exchange for the Grim Moire. And the “transaction” between Stolas and Blitz could actually evolve into something else. Which is…necessary if we don’t want what happened in episode 7 to repeat.
Moxxie and Millie having a “fight.” That was the equivalent of someone saying “one more” 30x til their partner just picks them up and says NOOOOO. XD and of course the 2 of them have a love song prepped. I can only wonder how many Moxxie has written Millie. Which may be why he was so desperate to get those mix tapes for inspiration. And judging by the 1st mix tape guy’s face as he heard the 2 of them singing, get the hunch Moxxie is a much better musician.
And last thing I got in for this comment is Octavia and Loona. Can’t say I ship them. They’re more like sisters. Which is applicable since their Dad’s are…wow there is no way for CZcams to let me finish that sentence. But the 4 of them will likely be more and more of a family by the end of the series. (Which I don’t see an end in sight so might just be building to that this season.) Stolas has to get past his arch nemesis Stella and the Goetia family if I’m going to guess. And Blitz has to get past his relationship foil in who I can only assume are Vizzaroli and Verosika. And I predict neither can do it solo and need the other to help them get past them. And LORD knows how Lucifer will eventually get involved if they keep causing earth based hell incidents.
Also you may be wondering how this isn’t my in depth research? Normally I got the exact order to say stuff sorted out, and I actually REMEMBER all the lore. Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel has a LOT to remember I wasn’t prepared to go so in-depth on. But I’m PRETTY sure it’s too late to turn back now.

I had caught the public safety posters at the start of the episode, but I hadn't thought it extended to bottled water. When Stolas and I.M.P. came out of the portal there were posters saying LA Water was 2% sewage runoff and 98% acid. Naturally there was a warning not to drink it. I didn't realize at first that was why the producer was burning when Stolas hit him with a bottle.
Bro same, I watched it so many times and I was confused as to why the producer started burning cuz I thought it was some kind of “holy water” thing from Los Angeles (city of the angels) but when I looked back and saw the poster I was like yeah seems more accurate.

Came here initially for Kirby's reaction to Hazbin Hotel. Checked back in for her reactions to Helluva Boss when they dropped. > Seeing as Octavia wakes up excited and rather happy, it shows that she is really looking forward to the event that she had marked on her calendar, granted we only saw her wake up grumpy once in ep2, but we could assume that she has been waking up grumpy after the events of the “Not Divorced Party”
> Stolas seem to be more absorbed in arguing against Stella that he seemed to ignore his daughter's conundrum, although good on him to fight back against Stella after their discussion from the last episode
> In the calendar in Blitzo’s office, there are words that say, “Murder Tiem”, “Observe Employeees”, “Pissing Contest”, “Commit Tax Fraud”, some iterations of killing a person, and lastly “Have The Talk” scribbled out in a number of days. We could speculate, “Observe Employeees” might have been the time when the Ozzies episode happened, so we could see a time jump happening between the aftermath of Ozzies and this episode.

It's less the age range as Loona is 22, but more that Octavia is a minor and they're clearly being set up as a sisterly dynamic.
Also blitzø's and stolas' relationship makes it a weird even if there wasn't an age gap

Been a silent follower for quite some time, but I have watched so much. I thought I was subscribed already but just realized I wasn't, weird. I love this episode, so much detail and fun! I especially love Loona's story and her meeting up with Octavia. I can understand the ship, and see it in ways, but I do think what they will have would be more like big sister little sister. With their Dad's in a complicated relationship as is, if they work it out and get officially together both girls would end up step sisters. Whatever happens I love seeing Loona open up to someone.
For reference, Luna is 22 now and Octavia is 17. While I don’t ship them on account of Via possibly being ace and Luna (so far) being interested in guys, I do love them together.
Luna needs someone she has to mature a little more for and Octavia needs an outside perspective. Both seem like they could use good friends to hang out with and talk star and goth stuff with 🥰🥰

Hell, Paimon shoved the grimoire at Stolas when he was like, 10, and demanded he'd study on his own.
Stolas, on the other hand, is actively teaching his daughter.

Been looking at the comments and I don’t think anyone has answered this question yet. Most of the main characters of Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss do have real Instagram accounts with “photos” on it. They don’t exactly post anymore because of how much fans were spamming the accounts, but what they have posted adds some details in what’s happened in between episodes.

I think it's weird how everyone is saying because stolas and blitz are a couple it would make loona and Octavia not able to happen. Like some kind of taboo or something. They aren't related, did not grow up together and never met (on screen) until right now. If they dated after Octavia turns 18 then regardless of what their dads do, there would be absolutely no issue whatsoever. It would be diff if they grew up together as step-sisters but they didnt

The only thing they didn't show was all his tats, but I think that would be impossible to detail and maybe a bit too on the nose for Vivziepop. Kim's hips are def obvious LOL.
