I love the new partner ship with u and crypt TV there so interesting
Like it I loved it it's interesting
Good job!!! ......Sooo the fairy thing is like his mother?
After meeting a talking fox and cat, a gorilla judge, a talking cricket, and a fairy, a talking donkey doesn't seem out of place. Even if it's giving him a warning not to do something.
Anman999 HAHAA I MADE A DOO DOO
@@SamSam-nv7lf huh 😀
He’s pretty much a bible story
You forgot a talking bulldog that saves Pinocchio from being eaten by a hermit.
And a talking snail
"I thought we were friends so what the heck is that about" 😂😂😂 you're just great
Bri L lol ikr
Bri L right exactly what I thought I died i was laughing so hard
To be quite honest, I’m more amazed by how much humanity is in the story of Pinocchio, rather than how messed up certain parts of the story get.
Thanks for the like!
Yes, a truly immortal masterpiece.
Really love the ending :) It’s like he was a puppet controlled by impulse/corrupt society outside, but now that he becomes a real human with self control, he’s much happier despite all the hard work
Piriya J Good way to look at it
He became "self aware", wink wink
Almost like the opposite of Peter Pan
Don't stop doing this! I love the Messed Up Origins series! I have probably watched and liked every single one, also coupled with the crypt tv part it really gets interesting! So what ever you do, please don't stop.
i second this!!!!
I now third this!!!
Don't stop telling the creepy stories their awesome
A first , second and third ! Make it a fourth - all in favor say “ aye !! “. I love theses .
Plz stopp donig ghis
The picture of Pinocchio looking at his puppet body really makes me sad for the puppet and how much that little guy went through. Greatest episode
Just like some people when they look back to their sad or messed up past life.
The little guy was a menece
The real story of Pinocchio is actually a very good life lesson story. :)
I remember having a non Disney version of Pinocchio on DVD and I was very confused on how the Disney and that version are so different. The other version is more similar to the book and always scared me when the the cat and the fox tried to kill Pinocchio. I am glad that you made this series and I am in love how you go into the details.
Please do the messed up origins of the fox and the hound
FictionRumble it’s actually a Fox and a cat in the book and a fox and a bear in the acted film
Jacob Bear no he's talking about this movie czcams.com/video/vxk2Vthrgt0/video.html not song of the south and Pinocchio
Nope nope nope. Please no. The OG one is fucking horrid and made me cry (yay european upbringing -.- thanks dad) myself to bed as a huge animal lover.
Your wish has been granted czcams.com/video/85SiT72IIh4/video.html
Noooooo
It's a simple thing but I love how Candlewick's name was changed to Lampwick for the movie.
Your content is stellar, and I truly admire the work and research you put into each of your Messed Up Origins! One of my favorite college instructors was doing a dissertation on the psychology of the folk tale, so I got a good dose of messed up origins during those 3 years. Thank you for helping to continue my education!
sources : the literal book and like 41 wikipedia pages hahaha
For those who are interested, here's a bit of the story that was kinda left out of the video.....
This part takes place after he leaves the town of Catchfools and before he find the gravestone of the fairy with the turquoise hair...
Pinocchio then heads back to the Fairy's house in the forest, but he sneaks into a farmer's yard to steal some grapes. He's then caught in a weasel trap where he encounters a glowworm. The farmer finds Pinocchio and ties him up in the doghouse of his late watch dog Melampo to guard the chicken coop. When Pinocchio foils the chicken-stealing weasels, the farmer frees the puppet as a reward.
This next part is when Pinocchio is in a fight. The other boys trick Pinocchio into playing hookey by saying they saw a large sea monster at the beach, the same one that swallowed Geppetto. However, the boys were lying and a fight breaks out. One boy named Eugene is hit by Pinocchio's school book, though Pinocchio did not throw it. Pinocchio is accused of injuring Eugene by two Carabinieres, but the puppet escapes. During his escape, Pinocchio saves a drowning Mastiff named Alidoro. In exchange, Alidoro later saves Pinocchio from The Green Fisherman, who was going to eat him, as Pinocchio returns home. After meeting the Snail that works for the Fairy, Pinocchio is given another chance by the Fairy.
I'm not sure if Jon left them out on purpose because it was long or it wasn't as important, or he forgot about it. But decided to added here.
After watching the previous video and now this one, I will admit the Pinocchio original book was insane. I read it and was surprised how dark it was. Good synopsis.
As Mike Tyson would say, change comes in thyne 😂😂🤣
I pressed the like button before the video even began
First movie recap ends at 2:42 for everyone that has already seen the movie or already has seen part 1
The way Jon says "boy" is amusing
The Waltons? 😄
Better yet is the way he says "leg"
I hit the like button right away!! Keep up the great work!!
I probably burned off my finger clicking on this so fast lol
agree
I pressed so hard my thumb went through my phone.
HAHAHA xD love you
You should put some medicine on that shit then
How..?
Thanks for making another video loved the first one
This was really good. I read Pinocchio as a kid and I loved it. This is the best origins episode on I that I’ve seen. Good job dude!
This interpretation of Pinocchio is like a weird fever dream
As an Italian,I'm very glad these videos exist. In my opinion, Disney butchered the original story and to see you spreading it puts a smile on my face. Thanks
It's my birthday today... thanks for posting this it's a wonderful gift!!!
I finally got to watching this. This second edition turned out really nice. As always, great job, Jon!! Can't wait to see more!!!!
These messed up origins are really cool, and I like them a lot. Will you be doing more like this? Also, Pinocchio is so infuriating, how he kept falling for scams and messing up.
He stopped by the end of the story
Do Alice in Wonder please!
Erin Hines it’s on the agenda! That’s a big project so I’m hoping to do something special for it
Jon Solo please do alice in wonderland
Jon Solo thanks for all your vids
Disapearing cats and caterpilars smoking a bong. Its a story about a little girl with a super sick acid trip thats all xD
Erin Hines I bought the book after he did the book bc i loved the alice story so much
What an amazing explanation about Pinnochio story.😄😄Thnx for making another awesome video🙌👍
"I thought we were friends so what's that about??" haha I genuinely laughed out loud to that... embarrassingly
I did the same thing 😛
My favourite part of the video 😂😂😂
the gepetto one scared the living s*** out of me.
I love all the detail in this video! Hope the next one is on this level 😊
can you do the messed up origins of alice in wonderland ?
Started out as a dark cautionary tale then turned into a story of redemption and sacrifice, better story than the disney adaptation.
Pinocchio is one of my favorite movies, I like all the versions of Pinocchio including the original book. I can relate to him because I can be rebellious and stubborn at times and my family says I can be hardheaded, 🤥and like Pinocchio I am trying to do better.
Let’s get those 5000 likes!!!
WOOHOO A NEW MESSED UP ORIGINS and I had a really bad week and I needed this thank you so much Jon
Edit: 50 views and 61 likes CZcams what is wrong with you?!?! Are you broken?!?
Kawaii Potato as a wise person on the internet said, "Cocaine is one hell of a drug"
The Otome Otaku Horror Fan I didn’t expect that
Kawaii Potato did you laugh though? OwO
The Otome Otaku Horror Fan yeah I did
Kawaii Potato IKR???!!!
This was so spine chilling and nerve racking I Love it! 😍 this was amazingly calm and I liked it.❤️
11:00 started to remind me of the Bible story Jonah and the Whale Jonah kept running away from his responsibilities and ended up getting swallowed alive by a while just like Pinocchio
"Clap your hands if the people at CZcams suck at their job!"
*Claps!* Me!
🤔🤐
Do the lion king messed up origins
skicemanism OMG YEEEES
Yes I would love to see The Lion King...
So just... . Hamlet? Most everyone has to study that in high school anyway
Brielle Nielson, have you seen Macbeth? It is good.
Elijah Bradshaw Macbeth is based on a novel bro. I don't like the modern version, although it's fine.
I've never been this early before
The ending of Pinocchio is great until you realize that he was never potty trained. LOL
Please please please please please please please please do ALICE IN WONDERLAND
I love your voice man and your facts are 👌
Pixx-E Animations thanks homie! 🤙🏼 I hate my voice actually lol
Jon Solo omg! No appreciate your voice >:0
yay i love messed up origins this was great loved it
i dunno how i found this channel...but i am SO ECSTATIC to be here! it's like my guilty pleasure to learn about messed-up stories from places like "cartoon-conspiracy" and this one just made the list. 😅
I READ THIS AS A KID and completely forgot until I watched Part 1 of this video... goodness gracious how it all came rushing back! I remember it freaked me out, but that was part of the reason I read it over and over again.
Wow! Kids' books were hardcore back then!
Single handedly one of the coolest series on CZcams
the thumbnail is face timing friends vs face timing crush
This my favorite messed up origins episode too!
In December of 2019 a new movie inspired by Collodi original work came out. The production is Italian and the director is Garrone (you might know him for Dogman and Tale of Tales). It pretty much follows the main plot points of the original story, with all its darkness and messed up stuff.
I think the movie is visually beautiful (strong Tim Burton vibes), even if it's obviously not perfect in a lot of ways. But if you feel like watching all the stuff Jon talked about, you are welcome ahah
Part 2 Is Cool!!!
Loved this one and I love all your others! I’d like to see You do Disney’s frozen next, I’m pretty sure it’s based on hans Christian Anderson’s “the snow queen”
You should do a messed up origin Creeks Edition on The Little Mermaid episode. It's super cool but I don't get how it matches tho. So I would greatly appreciate if you do it
About the cat's missing paw, it wasn't that he couldn't put two and two together. The fox told him that they had to sacrifice it to a hungry wolf.
Pinocchio becomes top of his class -- later teaches himself to read and write? Yeah okay.
You have gained a new fan!
Always enjoying your content. Interesting viewpoints into reality, the past, and psychology.
Omg I love this sm
kamuyamial I love YOU sm
Jon Solo :))
Lol the rabbit thing reminds me of the coffin dancers.
The original sounds more like the 2008 live version of Pinocchio(which Thomas Brodie Sangster is in and plays Pinocchio’s friend).
This is possibly my favorite one so far from the Gyarados reference to the Tyson quote that was just a regular quote with his speech impediment. Cried a good bit at this one. Great form.lol
When You Wish Upon A Star it's No Different Who You Are i Love Pinocchio it's One of My Favorite Hand Drawn Disney Movies Rip Hand Drawn Disney Movies 1937-2009
It would have been impossible to click faster
This is one messed up book that I actually read as a kid. I was like "whoa pinnochio killed jiminy by throwing a hammer at him!"
The book seems rather interesting, like I want to read it lol
ughh I hope this channel keeps on growing. This is so amazing 💕✨
You know there is a Christmas version that covers some of these stories
Yass! Part 2!!!! We did it!!!!!
Please do the messed up origins of The Jungle Book.
I liked this as fast as i can i might have burned off my finger lol
MORE MESSED UP ORIGINS STORIES PLEASE!!
I’m diggin the intro music it’s like it sets the mood right to ur voice and tone of the story.
Dude I love your videos! I really enjoy them!
Damn that story is a banger.
I'd actually see it as a series or 2 movies. 👏🏻
I know it’s not really Disney, but how about messed up versions of Narnia? Just a thought 💭 , I would love to see it.
Yaaay more videos :))))))))
I LOVE these vids so so much keep doing an awesome job!
I normally make a point to not like videos where the host asks the viewer to click the like button, but you earned it with that chiropractors joke.
you should do Bambi. I once read the movie was a "less depressing" version of the book. Also do the fox and the hound??
The subscriptions tab has always worked perfectly for me. I don't understand if I'm just lucky, or if other people are doing something wrong, because I just ignore the front page in favor of scrolling through my subscriptions chronologically every day.
If you want the more realistic Pinocchio then watch the Russian/Soviet Pinocchio - Buratino. It's literally the original story of Pinocchio but with his name changed to "Buratino"
The actual name of the animated movie is "The Golden Key"
The thumbnail is the most terrifying thing I’ve ever seen.
I like the end part of this episode. AMAZING CONTENT!
I know it’s not really Disney, but how about messed up versions of Narnia? Just a thought 💭....
I really love your videos! It probably requires extensive research and a lot of time, but please keep them up!!
Every moment he described this part of the story made me think of the movie they made in the early 2000s
So I guess toy land is the pleasure island in the book
In 8:48
12:01
Damm that’s tragic
11:27
The cat and fox gif what they deserved
Jon Solo: (singing) “Clap your hands if the people at CZcams suck at their job”
Me: *Claps my hands* 👏🏾
I stumbled upon watching your origin research on Disney movies great job bro. I'm big on history and I like how you broke down our childhood favorite movies.
I was not expecting that Mike Tyson impersonation “change comes in time” lol
"clap your hands if the people of CZcams suck at their jobs (CLAP)" hahahaha
I have been tempted to do my own version of Pinocchio and turn it into a deep horror story I'm already doing a big fan fiction of Disney movies and I just might add him in the next book
“And that weird little family lives happily ever after.”
Well, damn!! Lol 😂
Pinocchio's original morals were basically ignored by Disney. The true point is achieving responsibility. When Pinocchio's selfish desires are swept away by charitable intentions is when he has earned being a real boy. Thank you for this review as well as showing Collodi's true story.
I love hearing the adventures of
There was a sequel to Pinocchio that came out I don't know if it was a book but there was an animated movie and a live-action movie I would like to see you cover that part of the story
My day just got 10000 times better.... loved this video 😊
