    You forgot to mention that the egine oil has to be at least 70°C. Then you should prefill the oil filter housing with new oil before putting the filter in so that the engine is suplied immediately with oil at the first start.

      Hello Matthias thank you for the tips! I will do these for sure in the next oil change, and mention them in the future videos. Please don't mind me referring to you 😁 See you soon!

    Carl, get a Quickjack. Much easier!

    • @funcarsgoodpeople
      @funcarsgoodpeople  Před 2 lety

      Hi Bradley thank you for the recommendation! I did take a look at Quickjack website and they seem really good!
      My environment is kinda limiting so I chose these primitive tools at this moment. I will definitely go for powered jacks when I have a garage in the future!
      And Quickjack if you see this you are very welcome to become a sponsor 😁😁😁

      Hello Bradley how are you? I did not buy Quickjack but I bought Luxmain and here's why and the review: czcams.com/video/dqWheA6EAmk/video.html thank you again for the suggestion about the hydraulic car lift. Now I can lift the car much easier!

    OIL DRAIN MUST BE BEFORE CHANGING FILTRE
    DRAIN WITH FILTRE AND OIL CAPS OPEN FOR SMOOTH AND COMPLETE DRAINING FOR AT LEAST 15 MIN
    BMW RECOMMEND SHELL FOR NOW
    BUT LIQUI MOLY IS THE BEST OF ALL

    • @funcarsgoodpeople
      @funcarsgoodpeople  Před rokem

      Hi Amairi thank you for the tips! I totally agree with you and I have been doing it in this sequence.
      But before I did this video, I referred to the instructions in ISTA and this is the exact order for the S65 engine. Perhaps there are some background information for this but it is not explained by BMW. So this is why I decided to go in this oil changing sequence.
      I think either ways are okay as long as we are changing fresh oil frequently. But the best way is like you said, to completely remove the old oil in the system. Best regards to you!

    請問一下 你的D CAN線去哪裡買的 我的DCAN 沒有辦法用ISATA做診斷 賣軟體的說是線的問題

    • @funcarsgoodpeople
      @funcarsgoodpeople  Před 2 lety

      您好!我是在露天拍賣上買的(不過時間太久已經找不到紀錄),是K+DCAN,上面帶有開關的,E9x使用時開關要撥到D那邊。這個線好像無法適用太舊、還有F系以後的車種,需要注意一下!
      另外驅動程式的安裝,與虛擬COM連接埠的設定也必須正確,才能與車子連線唷!您如果可以使用INPA,那麼ISTA應該是也可以的。

    Curious to ask, have you done rod bearings on the M3?

    • @funcarsgoodpeople
      @funcarsgoodpeople  Před rokem +1

      Hi kid, thank you for your question. Yes the rod bearings have been changed on my M3 at 110k km, but they are done by some tuner.
      My tools and facility are quite limited, so I was not comfortable to do it by myself. However, I do hope to have a garage with full tools in the future so I can enjoy DIY. Maybe I can do it at 200k km 🤗
