- This video showcases a speedrun of Sunset Heights in Sonic Forces Re-Imagined! A mod that remasters Sunset Height and extends the level. I wanted to see how fast I could race through it. Got a time of 2 minutes, 5 seconds, and 34 milliseconds!

Okay the part where shadow just appears and straight up saids "someone needs to be thought his place" is JUST BADASS and the Sonic Adventure 2 reference is awesome love 💕 this SEGA needs to take NOTES 👏

I like how your speedrun was still longer than the average play length of the original version of the stage. Really goes to show how much they really fleshed out the levels with this mod!
It's disgraceful how Sega keeps blundering and the fans have to fix their screw ups.
Though you really know how to git gud with these speedruns.
Oh shit, the updated level design was already impressive but the speedrun potential it has is just awesome.
(Also as much as I hate Forces physics, damn that air boost is great.)
Never got why some people thought the Air Boost was a bad idea. Sure, Forces barely did jack with it, but as this video shows, it’s got a ton of abuse potential.
@@vgamer4993 Sonic Generations for the 3DS actually has a similarly OP air boost and it shows, much like this stage, that with good level design it's just another awesome asset in Boost Sonic's toolkit, rather than a braindead means of skipping levels entirely.
Tbh the air booost was the only good thing about sonic's physics in forces

Man, Sega really were lazy.
The air boost is incredibly overpowered but it's also the only fun thing about Forces lol. Great run by the way!

I've played the game lmfao. It feels terrible to control any character (mostly Classic Sonic but my point still stands)
Man, Sonic Forces is almost 4 years old!
Imagine if the 2022 game gets delayed until 2023. It would mean 6 years since the last mainline game... would be insane.

Yeah he's actually pretty fast when there's long patches to run on.
I think they made him a little faster in this mod, but he was always incredibly fast.

When ever I play with this mod, I fall to my death after the fancy little mini cutscene where you run past Shadow because the spring doesn't bounce me far enough. Also, the other level paired with it is broken too because I fall through the floor the moment I spawn at the beginning of the level every time. Any idea what's wrong?
