3:30, as for the Zeno's Dichotomy paradox, it's convincing that there must be an infinite number of steps for the ball to reach the ground and for each step, there is some time required, hence, it gives that infinite time is required for the ball to reach the ground but as we notice, as the distance halves at each step, so does the time. It's similar to starting with 50 and adding 25, then 12.5, then 6.25, and so on as we keep adding half of the previous number to reach 100 but the thing is, we never will because the amount we are adding gets infinitesimally small with each step. So the conclusion is, that there are infinite rational numbers between two integers and that's why the ball reaches the ground.

Teachers back in the days taught to teach a subject. I am wondering even they knew why that subject was taught. One should instill interest in the subject by explaing why to learn that subject in the first place. This is exactly what is covered here. I wish we were taught like this.
Our Philosophy teacher taught us about the Dichotomy Paradox. I think it is related to the concept of an infinite geometric sequences whose common ratio (r) is between -1 and 1.
Thanks for making our puzzled concept to crystal and clear.... Thanks so much . It's even really not required to memorize again... These concepts are simply pasted in our brAin at once...

Wait, for the instantaneous speed, can't we just use kinematics ? (the suvat equations) . Like for example by using v = u + at, where v = final velocity, u = initial velocity, a = acceleration and t = time. Then we have v = 0 - 9.81 * 1 = 9.81 in this case. Is this possible ?
The thing about Zeno's Dichotomy Paradox is that the series of infinities we've taken is convergent, that is it adds up to a finite number. No matter how you add the steps, it will always be 1.
To complete the infinite no of steps, the time it takes in each step becomes smaller and smaller and as the steps tend to infinity the time taken to complete a step also become infinitely smaller and so the overall time comes up to a finite amount.
considering that both the values i.e. distance and time, have equally reducing face value, only then will it never touch the ground. However, time for each reduces in natural numbers but distance reduces in exponents. Hence, the fraction of distance and time keeps reducing and eventually becomes negligible which is when it touches the ground.
I'm pursuing PGDM and want to make career in Data Science, I'm learning Calculus for that. You are really making things relatable and lucid to understand. Thankyou ❤

you are an awesome teacher. This is my first time in life watching / learning about calculus. And this video made me happy because it's easy to understand and it made some sense to me even though I never did good in math at my school. You teacher are a treasure.
I have fall in love with this channel.
Props to the team of don't memorise.
Thanks for this interesting vedio because i am a student of maths but i did't know this fact
Video
@@ishanjitasantra9287 sorry for that mistake
Sure Adnan, share and subscribe for more interesting videos
It's is video brother. I also do sometimes this mistake
Bro I think u were memorizing all the time
The Zenos dichotomy paradox-
We have to factor one more thing, that the distance becomes shorter every time we half it so the time taken to cover it becomes shorter as well. And we also have to factor in the acceleration at 9.8m/s-2.
that is a paradox of course it contradicts itself
Sir.... Really I'm very grateful to have teacher like you .....you are Thousand of Kms away, but i always found near me .... Whenever i have in any doubt .... Just type "don't memories " and find the simplest solution of that problem and find many things extra related to that topic .... Tqq soo much mam ....
Someone in the hell would explain to me, why Nora is bothering with the damn ball and not watching Dora The Explorer on the magic box??? 😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Geniuses think the way the world won't 😂😂
But remember , Nora is smaaart
I wish we had teachers like u Mam who could explain this beautifully and could make us fall in love with our subjects... Thank u so much,
You're very welcome! :)
*Physics students crying in the distance*
Why?
WHY?
Haha ..equations of motion under gravity ...are crying at a corner! XD
True very true
@@usemymemefornoreason3215 yea right
Through the videos of don't memories, really we can understand basics of calculus very well.
Your videos are lifesavers! Thank you for making them Don't Memorise! :-)
I just love the way you explain things. Thank you so much for all the efforts you put in to make things easy for us to understand. ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks Muneer :)
You're welcome! Happy Learning :)
@@InfinityLearn_NEET Eagerly waiting for its next part... :)
Brilliant explanation!! Anyone with an interest in learning math to any depth should definitely watch this vid.
Thank you very much for your appreciation and for watching. :)
@@InfinityLearn_NEET no thank you! you have no idea how much your brilliant work is helping many of us out there who're trying to learn mathematics but don't have the resources to access rare and quality educators like yourself. Your work is invaluable!
"keep calm and learn calculus" cracked me up. I am a student and your videos helped me a lot and thanks. and I will learn calculus.
The simple answer is that distance can divided upto a finite no. Of times the smallest length is the planck length with is 10^-35 of a mm
hii mam..im a neet aspirant ..ur videos are really awesome and helpful for my preparation ..instead of watching lectures for more than an hour it is good to watch ur videos ..and my time also saved .....thankyou so much........support and love from tamilnadu......!!!
hello
When you try to compress three years of school in a 10 minute video 🤦♀️
What's so 🤦♀️ about this?
You were taught this for 3 years in school?
As a person who has never taken a calculus class yet because its not my grade level yet, this video made sense even to me lol idk what youre talking about
There is no time wasting advertisments.that's why i like this channel mostly😊😊😊
All these years.. I've wasted my life in school... I've been trying to understand this..
Thanks a lot..
Okay, the limits approach can help us.
Average speed = ∆S/∆t
At any instant, the change of time approaches zero.
Thus, lim (∆t -> 0) ∆S/∆t or dS/dt
where d = infinitesimal change
This is request to you that please subscribe my channel please 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Probably the most awaited video from your side.....expect more videos on this topic. Appreciate it the utmost. Thank you.
I'm glad that our content is so helpful to you!
Happy Learning. :)
@@InfinityLearn_NEET Cool
Felt like studying my intermediate once again..now a medico...thank you!!!
Shout out to the audio engineer, finally someone who knows to curate the audio for headphones.
When I was in 2nd grade, I knew about square roots pretty well, but I still thought 1 x 1 = 2
*_Lol_*
That's the problem of our education system...
@@skandabhatta9634 square roots in second grade??????????
I studied roots at 6th grade
@@abdullahshamim4787 I studied basic trigonometry at grade 6. I passed grade 6 just now....
In government schools square root teaching starts at 8th grade.
It's interesting how she sounds so happy to talk about this.
Best and easiest way to understand calculus every teacher should teach like this
after a long long search of calculus video finally found one that is suitable for me. thanks a lot.
Best explanation of calculus I have ever seen. Thank you team Don't Memorize . I got the fact that there is no need of memorization 🙂
Thank you very much for the appreciation and for watching Sharad. :)
This is request to you that please subscribe my channel please 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I would rather throw my annoying Frnd into the sea. it's always tempting to ME .. lol
I am in 8 but i want to understand calculus because it is used in quantum mechanics and you have teached me best. Thank you❤
I wish every teacher in the world were like you.
😍😍😍😍🥰🥰
really i understand things so fast by seeing Dont memorize channel videos
a 10 minute content from this channel is exponentially better than watching celebrity news
This class was everything i was looking for, thanks a lot❤
This will be the most awaited topic on the channel .. i bet this will make records
Yes, you are absolutely right, I am also very awaited about it.
Thank you ,share and subscribe :)

*THIS CHANNEL MUST REACH 100M SUBSCRIBERS FOR THIS TYPE OF TEACHING ....GREAT*
😊😊😊😊☺
Teachers back in the days taught to teach a subject. I am wondering even they knew why that subject was taught. One should instill interest in the subject by explaing why to learn that subject in the first place. This is exactly what is covered here. I wish we were taught like this.
Please do a video on electric current as it is the most important chapter.
Thank you madam. Why school teacher didn't teach like you?
becauae they teach using the board.
Our Philosophy teacher taught us about the Dichotomy Paradox. I think it is related to the concept of an infinite geometric sequences whose common ratio (r) is between -1 and 1.
How do you explain calculus with clarity!?
You guessed it right! By cluttering the mind with the problems of calculus!!
Thank you for this amazing series!!
conceptual ,.... interesting.. amazing... i really liked the knowledge u provide the and the way u explain.... thanx alot
Glad you liked it!

You have introduced the calculus in a very best manner ever ❤️.
Thanks for making our puzzled concept to crystal and clear.... Thanks so much . It's even really not required to memorize again... These concepts are simply pasted in our brAin at once...
I know all concepts of calculus and how to apply it, but even after passing engineering with 8 .1 cgpa i am jobless now, will calculus help me in this situation??
4:35 angry bird memories are coming back
Lmao that's a great application for calculus 🤣
I'm downloading that game to check the physics

one of best ever youtube channels love u :)
I found the best measuring system
that is don't memorize.👍
Thank you ma'am upload more videos very much excited
I hope you continue this series for a long time! :)
I am so much proud that this great free content is coming from my country India. 🥰
I'm pursuing PGDM and want to make career in Data Science, I'm learning Calculus for that. You are really making things relatable and lucid to understand. Thankyou ❤
