In our HP EliteDesk 705 G4 Mini Project TinyMiniMicro guide we see how this AMD Ryzen-powered mini PC compares to its competition and predecessors. As part of Project TinyMiniMicro we are testing over two dozen of these former corporate PCs to see if they work with Linux and can have a second life as a home server, lab node, and/or compact workstation.

"We do not have the hard drive carrier for this." Hmm. . . Mine came with one, even though there was no drive. The carrier is oddly different and incompatible with the one in the EliteDesk 800 G2 Mini that I got before. It has a strange little door or gate that swings up, and it's slightly narrower, the vibration absorbent (with blue rubber bits) mounting screws don't fit. It seems to only have two screws to secure it in place (and mine was missing one of those), and those screws are also shorter than the ones in the 800. But, let's be fair, with the advances in NVMe drives, there's not much compelling reason to even have a SATA drive in most of these units today.

the audio is very informative but the video not quite, i know you have a review page with details, and you kinda motivate ppl to take a look, but i just want to see the charts while i watch the videos and not open a new page, please consider changing the video format to something more ... different, like show less face and more charts and hardware, it looks a briefing, but you can make your video smaller in the corner and show the things in full-size. really appreciate the quality of data :) but the presentation can be made better. have a nice day. all the best
