I think this whole dan ashworth saga has demonstrated one thing for sure & that's how committed eddie howe is to this club. I'm not suggesting that has ever been in doubt but the way he has phrased his comments & the obvious needle he feels about ashworth's 'betrayal' clearly shows a man fully committed to this club & it's project. Nice one craig, cheers as always.

I think 3-5-2 would be a fantastic idea for Arsenal away. Even away from the tactical aspect, a bit of a surprise for Arsenal could be just the sort of thing that their very young team could have trouble with.
Arsenal are fantastic attacking when there's space to exploit with Saka and Martinelli but have had trouble trying to break down a very "Full" defence- then with Bruno looking for Gordon and Isak on the break, there is at least something to hope for in that.
In terms of Ashworth, yeah, that has annoyed me. All the talk of this "Great Project" and long term visions and he tries to jump ship as soon as he's asked. I also thought Howe's comments have been slightly barbed. We paid up to get him, now Man United need to do the same but with a significant fee (£20m ish, surely? if he's that good/ important then he must be worth an average Premier League player in the long run?). Radcliffe is a proper cliché though- angry that we don't simply yield to let him get what he wants, has the gall to try and get taxpayer money to renovate Old Trafford- he seems to be that caricature of entitled, rich, Brexiteering Tory. Not that I'll ever defend our owners in terms of decency of course before the Whataboutery begins!
