In today's video, we're excited to share three powerful and highly effective kettlebell workouts for men! Kettlebells are an amazing training tool to have in your arsenal due to their ability to improve cardio, muscle building, and stability. Training with a kettlebell allows for simple yet fun workouts to keep your routine fresh and engaging.
First up, we'll demonstrate a 15-minute kettlebell complex workout that's perfect for boosting your metabolism and targeting fat loss. This dynamic circuit includes deadlifts, cleans, squats, and presses, all designed to maximize fat burning.
Next, we'll guide you through an upper body functional strength workout using kettlebells. This kettlebell workout routine challenges your body in new and unique ways and is built around overhead presses, rows, push-ups, and floor presses. It's a fantastic alternative to traditional chest and back lifting sessions, offering a fresh way to mix things up.
Finally, for those short on time, we'll show you a quick high-intensity interval training (HIIT) session involving just three movements: kettlebell swings, mountain climbers, and push-ups. This efficient workout can be completed in just 5-10 minutes, providing an incredible overall effect when time is of the essence.

ummmmm don't miss, end of story ehhhh
I have a small kettlebell doesn't seem to have good weight. Can you please tell me exactly how many pounds on a kettleball is the best weight for a woman to purchase? I'm never exactly sure how heavy a kettlebell should be to get your arms fully defined, and my body looking lean and toned, but not the "I'll be back!" bulky appearance😄...
Hi @Trisha - The weight will always differ by individual, as well as by how many repetitions (reps) of the exercise you will be doing. As a reference, the number of reps is generally guided by what type of workout you are doing. 3-6 reps for building strength, 8-12 reps for building muscle, 15-20 reps for increasing muscular endurance. If you can complete more than the higher number of reps in the range, you should increase the weight. If you cannot complete the lower number of reps in the range, you should reduce the weight. That will give you a good guide to select your initial weight. Once you have your starting weight, use the same method to gauge when you should increase the weight as you get stronger. I hope that helps?
@@Fitfatherproject OMG! First thank you so very much for responding to my questions😊. Realized I needed to incorporate weights to get the body I want never thought I would have to purchase more kettlebells at different workout levels. Yes😊! Your answers are very helpful, especially how you've detailed the different ways one can build their body along with giving the exact amounts of reps I can do to achieve the type of body I desire. Glad I came across your channel. I've started binge watching, and really enjoying your great informative videos. But Hey! I'm going to stick to the workouts. Why...bc I WANT CHISEL ARMS, and my arm, and hand veins popping😄! No, I want to look, feel healthy and keep staying in good health! So Fit Father, a billion👍's to you, and your great information😉!
Thank you for this wonderful praise! I’m really glad you found our channel too 🙏🏼🔥
I'm a mom getting back in shape. I do intermittent fasting and cardio and just added strength training last month. Gonna try these workouts but maybe with lower reps so I can get toned but still keep my feminine look.
!Thank you for watching and commenting. If you haven’t seen it, check out our Fit Mother Project CZcams channel. We have a bunch of great videos for women too.
@@Fitfatherproject Ahhh!!!! Will do that right now! I've been doing that fat loss complex and MAN does it get the heart pumping!
Love Kettlebells! Going to try the 15 min fat burning complex, but I think I'll scale it back to three times through to start since I'm almost 79 & ten times could be a bit much for me. I got tired just watching you do that whole thing through. Well done Dr. B!
Hey Carlo, sounds like a plan brother. Hope you enjoy! 👊

Perfect timing Dr A. I was planning on doing a KB workout today, looking forward to giving 1 of these a try! (Probably the 1st one as KB push ups are my nemesis!!!)😂👍🏼💪🏽

If short on time those workouts can be your 3 times a week. Mon, Wed, Friday. Each workout is different so its harder to get used to it and plateau. Hard to get bored also as its not the same workout every time.
🙌
I had never done swings, but I have done other ab exercises pretty regularly. I tried swings a few years back, not overdoing them at all, but I had really painful ab soreness for days after. I haven't gone back to doing them as I'm okay with the other moments I do.
Hey Scott, thanks for writing in brother! We think you should consider trying them again but start with a weight much lighter this time. Gradually you can build back up that core strength to handle the load. Thanks for watching!
-The FFP Team
How heavyor what size is the kettle bell you are using first with the deadlifts
Hey Jay, thanks for writing in brother! The heavier KB can be anywhere from 40-60+lbs as it all depends on your current fitness level. But for the first time, consider erring on the lighter side to get your body accustomed to the movements. Let us know how it goes for you Jay!

Does anyone know what kind of weights you need to get for the old school muscle program?
Hey Ethan, thanks for writing in brother and great question! You can find a quick breakdown from the following link: pulse.ly/6q99y6sd5h Give that a look and shoot support@fitfatherproject.com with any other follow-ups. Thanks for watching!

@@Fitfatherproject fantastic thank you!
You're very welcome 🙏
Why doesn’t he say what weight the kettle bells should be?
Hi Jonathan, find a weight that allows you to finish the workout routine. Then as you get stronger, you can start to go up in weight.
Why specifically kettlebells? Dumbbells don't work anymore 🤔???
It’s for if you don’t have dumbells or anything else besides kettle bells
Hey TL, thanks for writing in and great question! Dumbbells can work just fine as well, more that Kettlebells' weight is "offset" so it can challenge your core a bit more as you stabilize. But you can absolutely use DBs for these workouts too. Thanks for watching! 👊
