We are blessed to have both Lara and Celine. Celine could never attain this vocal performance, for this specific song, but, likewise, Lara could never match Celine when singing Ave Maria or Oh Holy Night, for example. Congratulations on discovering Lara Fabian. She is a living legend, huuuge outside the United States. It helps that she sings in multiple languages. She happens to be one of Dimash's idols, so much so that he sings several of her covers, and they ended up singing a couple of duets together. Hello Lara’s rendition is the best and will never be equaled. But I would like to introduce you to a 4 male crossover harmony group callrd “ Forestella” from South Korea. When they performed their first song ( the Freddy Mercury classic“ Bohemian Rhapsody”) it catapulted them to international stardom and they now have millions of followers worldwide. They were all at one time solo performers. One has a very deep bass/baritone voice. Another, a high operatic voice, and the other two group members (who were also solo performers at one time) combine to render “je suis malade” a confluence of absolute total passion and performed live on stage in front of thousands of fans. I thought no one would ever come close to Lara’s soulful rendition. And no one vocalist will. But when you have 4 members and the best vocal harmony group in the world, well. Just like Dimash, Lara worked with the composer Igor Krutoy for several years and became pretty famous in Russia. Dimash is a big fan of hers and they sing together in the song “ ti amo cosi” . She has many great songs like: Caruso, Adagio, broken vow etc.
Congratulations on discovering Lara Fabian. She is a living legend, huuuge outside the United States. It helps that she sings in multiple languages. She happens to be one of Dimash's idols, so much so that he sings several of her covers, and they ended up singing a couple of duets together. Lara’s rendition is the best and will never be equaled.
But I would like to introduce you to a 4 male crossover harmony group callrd “ Forestella” from South Korea. When they performed their first song ( the Freddy Mercury classic“ Bohemian Rhapsody”) it catapulted them to international stardom and they now have millions of followers worldwide. They were all at one time solo performers. One has a very deep bass/baritone voice. Another, a high operatic voice, and the other two group members (who were also solo performers at one time) combine to render “je suis malade” a confluence of absolute total passion and performed live on stage in front of thousands of fans. I thought no one would ever come close to Lara’s soulful rendition. And no one vocalist will. But when you have 4 members and the best vocal harmony group in the world, well. ( all I can say is have your Kleenex handy)
Some of their other songs I recommend are Simon & Garfunkel classic “The Sound Of Silence”, Guardian “ Angel” that will lift your spirits and transport you to another world-especially during these troubled covid times.
